July 2019: #tomorrowland is over but I don’t feel anything yet .. trying to make the most of my next few days in #holland - finally it all hits me and I start hysterically crying in a bar .. a random man turns to me and says “don’t cry - the beer can’t be that bad” hahaha
Thank you #tomorrowland for showing me the world in just a few days. Thank you for putting me on the big screen TWICE and allowing strangers to tell me how beautiful I am. I can’t wait to continue the story next year - #live today #love tomorrow!!!
In preparation for more first time #adventures - January 2016 - I was honestly so exhausted..not even sure what I was looking at - we just got done climbing oh idk more than 3000 meters straight up!!! If you haven’t been to #machupicchu yet - get there - worth every moment.
Who is the most memorable stranger you ever met? Once in #Istanbul late at night, I was looking for an ATM .. anyone I asked spoke no English until this college student overheard me and came over to tell me the area isn’t safe and he handed me money and told me to turn back. I didn’t take the money however I did take his advice...
August 2018: #Parisian summers. First time I saw the #eiffeltower was from the metro. I started crying so hard and this little old lady handed me a tissue. It was a dream for me to see it in person. I was that girl who was obsessed with Paris even though I never visited. Since then I have returned to this magical city over 10 times 🥺
Italian winter 2013 - quit my job and spent 3 weeks traveling solo. My #Italian became stronger and #theoffseasons was born. I realized I loved traveling to summer towns in the winter - all quiet with only the true locals. See this #Tuscan beach town for proof.
December 2011: Christmas in Belgium. On the eve of, a man runs out of a restaurant towards me saying he has seen me in the city before and it’s a sign that he’s seeing me again. He asks me to join him and his friends for dinner but my plans to travel to #Mons were set. I didn’t believe in signs then but if he asked me today - I might have joined him.
July 2019. Right under the #brooklynbridge with all my fellow #newyorkers . Idk why I started crying - just so grateful to be part of the greatest #city in the world where we really do have so much #freedom to be who we really are. I love you #newyorkcity .
