🤔 Yup that’s a battery pack implanted in my left bum cheek. It powers electric currents to the neuro-pain-transmitter implanted on to my spinal cord (behind my teeth in the X-ray), to help with phantom arm pain. My left shoulder is raised due to paralysis of the left core & the the arm amputation. Hardest part of my days is to hold my head up (literally & figuratively). Paralysis of the left side of my neck, the skew spine & the fused neck make it really difficult to hold my own head up straight. The constant pain is unexplainable. I can’t actually remember what it feels like to be in a normal , pain free body 🤷🏼♀️
It’s so tempting to hate the people that did this to me 🤬 I try, rather, to use that energy to focus on getting better and staying positive 😊

it's been a while that I spoke to you about the status of my dear book project “Stunning Stunts”🤔😱🤯
That's why it's time for a “short” update!!!
My summertime was... let's say diversely crazy….amazing jobs, followed by a death of a family member, a contaminated zerowaste farm, a mindfucking operation, amazing nice jobs and a bit energy charging time...just to name a few things that happened🤨
BUT freshly recharged I'm starting into hot phase right now😃☀️
Due to the limitation of my publisher, Keir was my final interview.
A fantastic final!!! I collected funny, impressive, crazy and shocking work stories from amazing interesting, famous and diverse stunt people worldwide. Stunties are just fucking great!
I would love to interview so much more great people and maybe I will but at first you will have to love those stories same as me:) My one-woman-project has grown to a dream-team-project!! Many incredibly great and creative people support me to complete this heart project. I already wrote the stories in German (rough version) and my publisher is checking and choosing them at the moment. As you may have noticed my English sucks a bit so I was looking for an English co-author. It couldn't been just anyone of course! A few English stories are already done and a few are in a rough stadium. I'm still not sure if I'll self-publish the English version or do it with a publisher but I'll figure it out soon. As soon as the the stories are confirmed all the interviewed stunties need to confirm it again and then the publishing process can start 🙂 I can't specify a date at the moment, too many things are out of my hands but I hope my chaotic summer took just a few month and I can be at the book fair in Germany next March. Happy 72nd Birthday to one of the greatest stuntmen all time: Vic Armstrong 🎂🥂 I still can´t believe that he welcomed me to his house for an interview for my book "Stunning Stunts" (just scroll down for the story behind:) ). To his Birthday I wanted to share with you this little outtake from my interview with him even though the quality is .... let´s say not the best🤯😴.
I'm so impressed by Vic's personality and his life and I think you get a very good impression of his winsome nature.
Story behind:
After the four-hour interview with the legend @rockytaylorstuntman we had lunch together. He told me a fucking funny story how Vic Armstrong played a joke on Rocky (will be in my book 😜)
I said that I would love to interview Vic, but that he does not answer me ..... he just took his phone, said something with "darling", then I have a gap in my memory, because my nervous system
began to collapse. He handed me the phone to make an appointment with him, and I actually forgot my English vocabulary.
My plane was leaving 4 hours later, all my 5 batteries for the sound were empty from the interview with #oliviajackson and Rocky but I did not care, I had no time to buy more (one of my big lessons: have always five safety batteries with you not just three☝🏽).
Thanks to my driver @akikrahman I was within one hour at Vics house, I was able to speak English after a few breaths and had an amazing interview with Vic and his amazing wife Wendy Leech also an absolutely impressive and legendary Stuntwoman. On that day I met four legends and got my plane perfect in time thanks to Aki....I would say that was THE perfect day for me thanks to @rockytaylorstuntman 💙💚💛🧡❤️ Check this Video from #behindthestunts :
