The global bull riding cup. Could we experience more American?...🤔
#Repost @lewfitness with @download_repost ・・・ ⭕️WHERE DOES FAT GO WHEN YOU LOSE IT?⭕️ by @pheasyque ⠀ The most common misconception among doctors, dieticians and personal trainers is that the missing mass gets converted into energy or heat, while instead, most of the mass gets breathed out as carbon dioxide. ⠀ In a paper published in the British Medical Journal, the authors show that losing 10 kilograms of fat requires 29 kilograms of oxygen to be inhaled and that this metabolic process produces 28 kilograms of carbon dioxide and 11 kilograms of water. ⠀ If you follow the atoms in 10 kilograms of fat as they are 'lost', 8.4 of those kilograms are exhaled as carbon dioxide through the lungs. The remaining 1.6 kilograms becomes water, which may be excreted in urine, faeces, sweat, breath, tears and other bodily fluids, the authors report ⠀ Now, before you start breathing your life out and get into hyperventilation, know that breathing more or faster, won't help you lose fat. ⠀ Quite in fact the answer will always remain the same: diet & exercising will always be king. ⠀ 🔥🔥🔥TAG somebody who always wondered this! ⠀ References: https://www.bmj.com/lookup/doi/10.1136/bmj.g7257 - https://www.bmj.com/content/bmj/349/bmj.g7257.full.pdf - https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/12/141216212047.htm
26/280. - This morning was supposed to be rnd 2 of @thecastlegames but KB swings and snot do not go. No. They. Don’t. - Decided to do some yoga to warm up and help it along. I’m now starting to feel comfortable in the crow pose. Here’s 15 seconds I’ve stolen from you so you can see me balance on my arms. You’re welcome. 😉
This dude just blows my mind, how any human can do this and make it look easy is just incredible! … Best get back to struggling with a forward bend! … @cyberyoga
That’s more like it! … Redo of @thecastlegames 19.1. Previous attempt was 60kg (480kg total), this time round, did 67.5kg (540kg). … I was 5 reps shy of my previous best on part 1 but decided to submit this round, as the ground I covered here in part 2 on the lifts would outweigh the reps lost. … Maybe if I’d have gone heavier first time round, I might have made too 100...🙈
Let’s face it, no one really thinks about mobility or flexibility when it comes to health and fitness. … There are huge benefits for guys to start getting there namaste on. … Follow the link in my bio to discover the 5 reasons Dad’s need to do Yoga.
Raising a son, one father shaped block at a time.
This is too true. … As time passes, nothing really changes but I always feel that the industry has to come up with new, inventive ways to lose weight and get in shape, so they can still appear relevant. … The fundamentals are still the same though. … Eat well and across all major macros. Ensure protein intake is good. Exercise in a way you enjoy. Supplement with the stuff that works. You’ll go a long way. … Repost - @valentine_rawat
Yoga 19/280 … Thomas coming in and hogging the limelight...show off! 😏
2nd yoga cycle - 18/280 … Now onto @dylanwerneryoga ‘s True Strength Fundamentals on @alo.moves. … Whilst this might look like a shot of me elevating myself whilst pulling off Magnum (clearly Magnum and not Blue Steel), what I was actually doing was trying to not look like I was shaking massively. … Got to love the iPhone 7 for not capturing motion blur.
@thecastlegames 19.1 - good way to start competition season and curse why I have such short legs. … Part 1 5 mins 1 rep ascending ladder of... 35kg Ground to Overhead 24” box overs. . 3 mins rest. . EMOM8 1x clean. . Score - part 1 total reps, part 2 successful lifts x weight. … set myself the goal of finding a pace and just going, no rest. Pleased I didn’t make a div of myself and trip over the box. … Went too light on the cleans though...redo?...🤔
Water - keeps you healthy and focused on your own shit. Win / win. 👏🏻
Meal preppin like a boss 😎🤙🏻
This week has been a pretty awesome week for me with the biggest success I’ve had in my career. … As much as I would love to shout it from the rooftops, I feel there is a fine line between coming across as arrogant or big headed and not celebrating enough. … We have every right to fully experience our wins and our successes. Hell, we all experience lows so why not enjoy the wins to its fullest whilst they’re here? … So whatever successes or wins you’re having right now, soak them in and celebrate them to your fullest. Enjoy them whilst they’re here before you move on to the next one. … I’m going to go one a wolf of Wall Street style bender...or a lovely meal with Claire and Thomas, we’ll see! 🥳
9/280 … Late night yoga session to wipe the cobwebs away of a 4.30am finish last night. 😏 … Still about as flexible as a pencil but at least my balance is getting better. Strength in the shoulders is improving too. One day, the handstand will be mine! … Wearing @ohmmeapparel. Not sponsored...one day. 🤓
The problem with weight loss as a goal is it can be achieved in a really short space of time...but what do you do when the 8 week program is over? … Click the link in bio to find out
