Day 3 of the #AllVibesAnytime GIVEAWAY • Name 1 Vice or way you self-soothe/self-medicate/numb out/avoid discomfort. I feel like a lot of coping mechanisms come to mind when I am asked a question like this, but one that has struck me lately is social media. The same platform that I’ve used to share my beliefs, perceptions, and vulnerabilities is the same one that I unconsciously use to steer away from discomfort. My history with procrastination is extensive and I feel like I’ve have been so overwhelmed with the feeling of needing to complete a task. I understand where this is coming from but it still doesn’t make it easy to work with. Feel free to share your story and join in on the challenge. “See my post on Monday for details on how to join our #AllVibesAnytime IG Challenge + WIN a spot in @AshleyTurner1’s #YogaPsycheSoul Online Training and @CorcYoga Sustainable Yoga Kit!" 📸 @acrowithjon
There have been many periods of my life that it’s been hard to connect with those around me. In the face of consistent stress there are so many things that change in my mind and body. I very quickly feel an increase in muscle tension in my neck and low back and my resting mind state goes dramatically towards stressful thinking. My relationship the world around me shifts dramatically and emotions like anger and judgement seem to arise easily. It’s harder to deeply connect with those that I love and a common tendency is to hide my emotions and act like everything is fine. My awareness of the shift is profound but to magically turn this around feels almost impossible. And that’s ok. Things are wild sometimes and my old patterns are bound to show their face at some point. My goal is to meet these feelings with love and self support... Connect to my intentions....And work well with the present moment. Feel free to join in on this post and share a story to help #shattershame . I continue to say that the bridge between the present moment and your desired state of being is always self compassion. All your changes are best built upon this mindset because your steps toward your goals will inevitably create your state of mind when you complete them. If the person you’re with doesn’t meet you with this same compassion it’s hard to unpack the old habits that you desire to change. Finding someone that allows you to show up to the table without having to change anything at all is the ultimate state of non-judgmental awareness in the collective. When there’s nothing to hide from each one of us can feel the intuition of the places in your life that you desire change. I’m so thankful for @hot_tangerine for taking me in for who I am all while inspiring me to follow my path. Thank you❤️ 📸 @flyginapie ❤️ @acrothornado
One big question that a yoga practice asks is “who am I” and in that inquiry is the intuitive value of connecting to the friends that I truly desire in my life. @alliemichellel is someone that inspires me to continue on my path of creativity, adventure, and deeper connection to myself and others. Thank you for being you and for flying so beautifully❤️ 🎼Song is Tadow by Masego
This is a yoga class that will inspire the practice of presence and.... at the end you’ll be happily surprised by a Sound Bath Savasana. Melodic vocals by @rafaellecohen will accompany the gentle sound of live guitar. The mixture of taking action through body alignment and the invited practice of open awareness meditation can assist you in diving deeper into your intuitive self. The fluid dance between poses and the stacked awareness of the senses can align the body and mind to a connected state. The practice of releasing unnecessary tension during this class will be encouraged so we all can connect to the subtleties of the emotional value in your movement. This class is tomorrow 5/17 at 10:30am at @the_yogacollective In Venice. Message me for more details🙏🏼 Have a wonderful day❤️

Wow! Life has been throwing some wildness at me and I’m not exactly sure if I’ve been handling it in the best way possible. And it’s ok! The more overwhelmed I feel the further away my self regulation techniques move from my conscious mind. It’s the snowball effect of anxiety🙈 Stress very easily creates more stress but where does the cycle end? The practice of presence and conscious awareness is the answer that can override this nasty cycle. 1) The acknowledgment of what I’m presently feeling has been an important step that in my past has been overlooked. Remember that the practice of calm always meets you where you are at! 2) Setting light hearted intentions for feeling something different. 3) Taking action on some self regulation tools that work for you. For me I practice: -belly breathing -body scan meditation -activities and hobbies that get me out of my analytical mind. My practice is always changing and I know that feeling difficult feelings is one part of being human. I’ll end with this really important reminder that I know you’ve heard before. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference. Thank you for all your support! 📸 @acrowithjon

This time in my life has been a wild ride of conscious creation hugged by the most necessary practice of letting be. Letting be has been the real struggle... For the longest time the idea of taking action has been on the forefront of my mind which has very often left me feeling overwhelmed and stressed about my everyday life. Even when I was having fun or relaxing I had this underlying feeling of “I’m not doing enough”. Letting be has helped me in changing my relationship to my current state which I believe will assist me in any and all desired change in my life. 🙏🏼 I’m so grateful for all that I have and my current state of being in this world. @flyginapie is flying so beautifully! And 📸 @acrowithjon 🙏🏼
Conscious Connection💞 The choice of connecting physically, emotionally, and energetically is something that I refuse to overlook these days. #PracticingAwareness gives me an opportunity to notice when old patterns of disconnection show up so I can reset my true desire to be more open to the world around me. Connecting to my own emotions with compassion and open arms allows me to be with others on level that is much different than that of my past. All of my desired changes has come along with tools and techniques that assist me in breaking through barriers of emotional rigidity. I now feel like there are options to be more engaged and receptive to the world around me, which creates a feedback loop of loving connection. Of course, in this awareness comes times of going inward and paying close attention to my needs in the present moment. The practice of awareness can always meet you exactly where you are at.❤️I’m so thankful to everyone that invites diversity into their life because you have been a great inspiration for the changes that allow me to be me. Thank you @hot_tangerine for seeing me for me and @kikogiraldo for your friendship and the 📸😉
