It's been a long year. I'm not making the progress that I'd like, thank you Prednisone, but you can't deny I'm making progress. . It can be extremely discouraging to push so hard, to eat only the right things, to drink all the water and none of the wine or margaritas... and still just not see it happening. . I'm not giving up. I'm not stopping. This is a journey. . Right now, my journey is slow on the weight loss front because other things are happening. I'm only on 2mg of Prednisone. That's HUGE. For my health, it's more important than losing these last 50lbs. It's that level of huge. It's just hard because I can't see that in every picture, mirror, or reflection. . Digging in the gravel in Zenpukuji park, Suginami ward. The Zenpukuji River starts from Zenpukuji pond via a spring, said to have been dug using a bow by the first shogun when he needed drinking water 800 years ago. As well as having a small playground and boats for hire, there is a small stream between the two ponds that has been designed for children to explore. Children are allowed to enter the shallow stream as long as they are careful not to damage the plant life and any other wildlife they may come across.
