i went back and forth on if i should wear this outfit for pictures i decided to take for myself. i thought its too sexy, I’m a mom i shouldn’t wear this, what will ppl think? after realizing that yes it is sexy, yes i am a mom and i can still rock the shit out of some clothes & who tf cares what other ppl think... i went for it. FOR ME. because this is what i decided to do to show some love to myself. 20 minutes a day while during my busiest semester ever of post-secondary. The perfect way to relieve some of that built up stress when times get hard. Whether you’re a mother, you work full-time, you’re in school, whatever your situation there is 20 minutes in your day SOMEWHERE to put yourself first and exercise your body and your mind. Only 4 weeks into this 6 week program and feeling quite lean most days and the amount of muscle I am gaining and fat that is falling off is incredible. When we have deep wounds around feeling ourselves, because doing exactly that, would put us in perceived danger, in the past. We had to constantly leave ourselves, in order to survive our enviroment. He had to adopt the beliefs of other people, to feel others love rubbing against our conciousness, to feel our most innate primal need - belonging. To speak our truth outloud, what we felt deep inside would cause that very need to be confronted way too soon. We were not yet ready to be the people we were born to be - Self reliant. To make matters worse, we were brought up by people who were not self reliant either, which meant we were basically following people who were following other people.
When you have been deep in trauma for many years, because your core wound always got triggered, you never developed the resilience or the buffer to start putting your awareness within. Only when your central nervous system has been at rest for a sufficient amount of time, can you finally peek outside your wounding. From there you can start putting your awareness on self and start to develop that intimate relationship with yourself. Putting back the TRUST in you. From there you can start creating that conscious reality you always dreamed of.
You are so much more than you give yourself credit for. You are not weak. You are deeply sensitive -a superpower you soon will realize the importance of.

When we have deep wounds around feeling ourselves, because doing exactly that, would put us in perceived danger, in the past. We had to constantly leave ourselves, in order to survive our enviroment. He had to adopt the beliefs of other people, to feel others love rubbing against our conciousness, to feel our most innate primal need - belonging. To speak our truth outloud, what we felt deep inside would cause that very need to be confronted way too soon. We were not yet ready to be the people we were born to be - Self reliant. To make matters worse, we were brought up by people who were not self reliant either, which meant we were basically following people who were following other people. When you have been deep in trauma for many years, because your core wound always got triggered, you never developed the resilience or the buffer to start putting your awareness within. Only when your central nervous system has been at rest for a sufficient amount of time, can you finally peek outside your wounding. From there you can start putting your awareness on self and start to develop that intimate relationship with yourself. Putting back the TRUST in you. From there you can start creating that conscious reality you always dreamed of. You are so much more than you give yourself credit for. You are not weak.
