🇷🇴Familia Kálnoky este atestata documentar pentru prima oara in estul Transilvaniei in anul 1252. Cele doua mosii principale se aflau la Miclosoara si la Izvorul Crisului. Contele Tibor Kálnoky face parte din cea de a 25-a generatie a familiei, generatie revenita in Romania dupa 50 ani de exil.
Castelul contelui Kálnoky de la Miclosoara a fost construit in anul 1500, avand destinatia de conac de vanatoare al familiei. Acesta contine multe elemente renascentiste, chiar daca unele dintre ele au fost partial distruse in perioada comunista.
In jurul castelului de la Miclosoara exista cateva casute in care va puteti caza si experimenta traditiile si obieceiurile locale. Acesta casute dateaza din anii 1800 si au fost restaurate cu mare atentie pentru a le fi conservat sarmul original. Casutele sunt amplasate in curti spatioase si sunt frumos mobilate cu antichitati secuiesti si transilvanene. Castelul restaurat si pacul sau sunt situate la doar cativa pasi, pe drumul principal. Cateva zile aici va vor face sa va simtiti ca si cum ati fi trait intr-un roman din secolul al XIX-lea.

I was eleven when I said to my parents I had the desire to paint. The day after, my Dad took me to an art supply store and bought me all I needed to get started. I went home, set all things up and...did absolutely nothing! I was overwhelmed. I did not know where to start from. Mostly, I was afraid of ruining the canvas. That feeling lasted for YEARS. There was a little voice calling me but I ignored it. Till a summer day of almost three years ago. I had lived one of the most incredible week of my life [but that’s another story] and I was feeling so grounded and balanced. Finally I felt the urgency to use that canvas. I spent the entire night painting..never worrying about the result, never questioning myself...I just enjoyed the journey. I will never forget that moment: by the end of the night my first canvas was done - but more important- I had finally listened to that voice and channelled my inner self. .

🗺 Сейчас Миллионка хипстерский район, которые потихоньку заполняют кофейни, рестораны и бары, но ещё в прошлом веке, поговаривают, жило миллион китайцев.

🏚 Внешне эта улица если свернуть во дворы может вызвать неприязнь Дома под откос, крыши на уровне плеча, окна цокольного этажа. Сотни проходных дворов, мостики переходы и подземные лабиринты. В случае облавы можно было зайти в одном месте, а выйти неизвестно где. Гласила легенда что по туннелям дойти до самого Китая. Тут было все: прачечные, портные, чифаньки, бани. Тут было огромное количество спекулянтов и мошенников, тут можно было купить фальшивый паспорт. Даже можно было посетить Китайский театр. Хотя тут была и скрытая от посторонних глаз жизнь. Хотя и зовётся все Чайна Таун, жили тут, и японцы, и корейцы, и малоимущие русские, и даже греки. В домах темно, тесно, кровати располагались в два яруса.

🎭 Были там и большие каменные дома. В них посещалось ещё больше неприхотливых китайцев, а ещё в этих зданиях часто располагались опиекурильни, публичные дома и игорные заведения. Тем самым, Миллионка обладала особой притягательностью для местных жителей и иностранных моряков. Многих привлекали низкие цены, никого не смущало что котлеты или пельмени могут быть с кошатиной, а подошва ботинок купленных тут картонная. В чайных магазинах продавали уже заваренный чай, его сушили, смешивали с новым и паковали.

🖌 Писатель Аркадий Гайдар успел побывать на Миллионке в 1932 году, осталась об этом запись в дневнике. Вскоре, в 1936-м, старая Миллионка исчезла. Социально и санитарно опасный «чайна-таун» был ликвидирован спецоперацией НКВД.

Casutele sunt amplasate in curti spatioase si sunt frumos mobilate cu antichitati secuiesti si transilvanene. Castelul restaurat si pacul sau sunt situate la doar cativa pasi, pe drumul principal. The day after, my Dad took me to an art supply store and bought me all I needed to get started. I went home, set all things up and...did absolutely nothing! I was overwhelmed. I did not know where to start from. Mostly, I was afraid of ruining the canvas. That feeling lasted for YEARS. There was a little voice calling me but I ignored it. Till a summer day of almost three years ago. I had lived one of the most incredible week of my life [but that’s another story] and I was feeling so grounded and balanced. Finally I felt the urgency to use that canvas. I spent the entire night painting..never worrying about the result, never questioning myself...I just enjoyed the journey. Morning all, Shaun @shaunderbyphotography at the helm today. The image this morning is from a couple of weeks ago when I headed up Deepdale with fellow Lakelander @timdovephotography It’s a location I’ve visited only once before and it was great to go back for sunrise. With some snow still on the higher ground, it really helped Greenhow End stand out and added some contrast to the scene. There are plenty of options for composition, and better on an overcast in my opinion. [Китай город] ⠀ 🗺 Сейчас Миллионка хипстерский район, которые потихоньку заполняют кофейни, рестораны и бары, но ещё в прошлом веке, поговаривают, жило миллион китайцев. ⠀ 🏚 Внешне эта улица если свернуть во дворы может вызвать неприязнь Дома под откос, крыши на уровне плеча, окна цокольного этажа. Сотни проходных дворов, мостики переходы и подземные лабиринты. В случае облавы можно было зайти в одном месте, а выйти неизвестно где. Гласила легенда что по туннелям дойти до самого Китая. Тут было все: прачечные, портные, чифаньки, бани. Тут было огромное количество спекулянтов и мошенников, тут можно было купить фальшивый паспорт. Даже можно было посетить Китайский театр. Хотя тут была и скрытая от посторонних глаз жизнь. Хотя и зовётся все Чайна Таун, жили тут, и японцы, и корейцы, и малоимущие русские, и даже греки. В домах темно, тесно, кровати располагались в два яруса. ⠀ 🎭 Были там и большие каменные дома. В них посещалось ещё больше неприхотливых китайцев, а ещё в этих зданиях часто располагались опиекурильни, публичные дома и игорные заведения. Тем самым, Миллионка обладала особой притягательностью для местных жителей и иностранных моряков. Многих привлекали низкие цены, никого не смущало что котлеты или пельмени могут быть с кошатиной, а подошва ботинок купленных тут картонная. В чайных магазинах продавали уже заваренный чай, его сушили, смешивали с новым и паковали. ⠀ 🖌 Писатель Аркадий Гайдар успел побывать на Миллионке в 1932 году, осталась об этом запись в дневнике. Вскоре, в 1936-м, старая Миллионка исчезла.
