Some Australian bush for acclimatation. Got my power back sometime last night. Isn’t it funny that during my four years living in Darwin I didn’t experiment any cyclone. Since I moved back to New Zealand, Darwin was hit by Marcus and Auckland got seriously shaken this week by some serious wind storm #bigweek in so many ways
Got hacked. Change your password people. Still no power from last night storm. Good night
Such a hard subject the Tiki. Thank you @jeannemarieart for inspiring me to get into a lil’challenge. Not like the real thing but practice makes progress. . And I certainly need it as I’m very rusty.
Playing this Sunday evening #acryliconpaper #mixedmedia #collage thinking about that time I did 100 faces...it feels so far away. I’ve been thinking about the many reasons I am not creating much these days. Too many changes. Settling into new. Perhaps I need to ‘be patient toward all that is unsolved’ as says Rilke. ‘Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue’. ~Rilke
She looks as if she is missing out 😊 @mistymawn Perhaps my way back in is to create a tiny bit each night. To see what emerges. To practice again. Slowly. Patiently. Namaste☀️
No new art yet but enjoying seeing this evening’s sun dancing on my paintings. @i.paua.pearl
Since I moved into my pad I’ve been wanting to paint so much and yet unable to put my yearning into action. Tonight I found my way back to my brushes. Connecting with sadness and growth. Not all mine. Thank you @gela.marie for our chat.. your gentleness encouraged me today I find your art enliven and heartening. Also inspired by @saraburchartandsoul soulful art. #acryliconwood #studiolounge
