I could write a book about managing "the in-between", temporary spaces, as I constantly struggle to synthesize the idea of who I used to be w who I actually am today. I've become pretty comfortable in discomfort. ➖ It requires a juggling of keeping your old strategies incorporated until you completely shift to the next level of which you aspire. ➖ They say that every new phase of life requires a new version of yourself, but what they don't tell you is that you will also have to learn how to maintain + continue the older version of yourself as well; this can be exhausting. ➖ It is however, the temporary situations that help us build character.
