Posting below ⬇️ - • 3x12 BB bench press • 3x12 DB curl • 4x8 dips • 4x8 slight incline bench DB flys • 3x5 push ups with a 10 second negative (do on knees if can’t do push up) • 3x8 preacher curls • 3x10 whatever this exercise above is called 😂(10 each arm) - I never know where to look while filming an exercise 😂 When I look directly at the camera it looks like I’m about to murder someone lmao 🤷🏻♀️ We are almost through the work week tho guys!! Really looking forward to having a relaxing weekend! 😎

Here’s a #TBT / #transformationthursday to last year when I first started out on my fitness journey! I remember being so excited that I could do 2 chin ups 😂 SWIPE ➡️ for where I am today! My max pull-up set is now 8 😱💪🏻 - When I first started getting serious about fitness and health I set a goal for myself to be able to eventually do 10 pull-ups. Previously, I had never been able to do even a single pull-up. I was that person in gym class that had to hang from the bar for as long as possible during those fitness tests 😂😂 - I’ve put in a lot of work in the gym and in my diet to get from last year to now. 👏🏻 I’m very proud of myself for being consistent and getting closer to reaching the goal I set out for myself! If you put your mind to something and then put in the work necessary to achieve it, nothing can stand in your way!! ✨ - When I finally reach my current fitness goal I will set out on a new one! Not sure what it will be yet but I always love having a challenge to accomplish! What are some of your fitness goals?? 🤗
Back day > leg day 🤷🏻♀️😂 SWIPE ➡️ for a back/shoulder workout 🦋💪🏻 - I was trying to get back into making/following my own workout plan again, but right now my motivation to get to the gym is not great 🙃 What’s working for me is just getting to the gym and then figuring out what I feel like training and taking it from there. I don’t recommend this approach if you have a specific goal in mind, but if it’s the difference between working out or not then who cares! 😝 - “Motivation gets you going, but discipline keeps you growing” 👏🏻 - 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Pull-up update!!! 👏🏻💪🏻 Did 3 tonight!!! My form is still a little rough around the edges but it’s getting there! 🤗 - My problem tonight was my wrists starting to hurt so bad after the 2nd one. If anyone has any tips or ideas on why this is let me know!! - 💪🏻
I am surprised I made it through tonight’s leg day 😫 My body was fighting me every step of the way- my hamstrings were still sore af from my leg day on Saturday even after stretching and warming up, I got a charlie horse in my glutes halfway through (didn’t think I was going to survive it lmao) 😂😫😅 and then felt like I pulled one of my calves after doing a giant superset of seated calf raises, donkey calf raises and single leg calf raises. 😅 - I wanted to give up and leave multiple times, and had plenty of excuses to, but I forced myself to stick with it and finished up strong with a good ab set! 👏🏻 - To me working out is as much of a mental battle as it is a physical one. 🧠 Even just getting to the gym after a long day of work can be a struggle and takes a lot of discipline, especially when I get home and see my bed lookin all cozy lmao. 😂 What motivates me to get to the gym is knowing how much better I will feel after!! What motivates you to workout?? 🤔
It’s Friday Lite !!! 👏🏻🎉 I swear the best ab workout is a tough leg day! Especially for the lower abs which are always the hardest to target and get in shape. 😫 - I have been responding really well to the HIIT cardio I’ve been doing the past two weeks. I usually avoid cardio at all costs but it can be a useful tool to get past a plateau in your diet. What some people don’t realize is if you do the same amount of cardio frequently (like spending 40 min on the elliptical every day) your body eventually builds a tolerance to it and adapts, that’s why it’s important to always switch up what you’re doing to keep the body guessing and progress moving along as it should 👏🏻 - Hope everyone has a great day!! ✨
For best gym selfie results take them after lifting but before cardio 😂 - I’ve been trying to do 20 min HIIT after my all my lifts (except on leg days)- tonights was 30 seconds on high and 1 min low on the stair stepper for 10 min then did intervals on the elliptical for 10. I was aiming for 20 min on the stair stepper but thought my heart was going to explode so I stopped early 😂 It’s good to push yourself but important to know where your limit is to avoid getting hurt 🙅🏻♀️ - I was planning on posting a new recipe tonight (involving octopus 🐙) but it turned out not as expected 😅 Hopefully will post a different recipe later this week instead!! 🤗
