It was a little while ago now but what a great experience to be invited to collaborate with the crew from @theeverleigh @tcykdesign & @hardiegrantbooks. This series of images from the book A Spot at the Bar by Michael & Zara is definitely needed on the shelf at home. Check it out and enjoy the images.
Lighting the lamps for landing @royalflyingdoc
Clearing the runway means looking out for curious kangaroos in outback Australia. Not a great thing to have hopping around when a plane is about to land.
This recent campaign saw us head out to Baradine, a small regional town in NSW. We spent some time and got to know some of the locals and hear how the @royalflyingdoc keeps them living the lives they love and why they come together as a community for this important service. Darren Beveridge and Phil Hensby, two Baradine locals star in the latest campaign. Darren's own Flying Doctor story was being saved by the RFDS after he had a run in with a bull and had suspected spinal injuries. He was all ok in the end. Shooting through the night we followed the story of a few key members of the community who get the call to set up the airstrip for the RFDS plane to make it's landing on a kerosene lamp lined runway.
Sunset's in the remote outback definitely slows the pace on a hot summers day for Australian farmers.
