Day of apple picking and baking!
Hanging out on the beach after digging for clams with this lil ball of sunshine ☀️
Another Python blender operator in the works, this will be useful if you ever need to scale all faces of a UV map individually and ignore connections between faces.
Had the pleasure of visiting the magical movie making campus the week before, and loved this cornerstone building
While there is some irony of starting my vacation time with flying and staying a hotel (👉traveling consultant here), really can't complain about this view and setup 😁
First off-road bike race! Or actually, any bike race. Co-worker pulled me into a 5 mile race after work. With no training, I'm just happy I finished (and also didn't crash)!
Good time jazzin out to @caravanpalace .. or at least until the fire alarm went off 😂
Today I had the pleasure of experiencing the rare, mid-flight double jump
Ascending after a couple hours on the trampolines
Had a great but short visit to the London area, caught up with good old friends and enjoyed the sun (and rain, of course). Saddened by the tragic attack at the bridge but am safe and thankfully was not in the immediate vicinity at the time. I saw this sign on my way to the airport this morning.. it is scary to think how these frightful events can happen just about anywhere and at anytime to anyone, maybe more so in recent years. It rightfully does capture our attention. I think it also fair, regardless who does or does not claim responsibility for the event, to place it in context to global affairs and make mindful and informed opinions and decisions. I mean that not to belittle the attack, very much so the opposite, but as we have been hearing more and more of these events we need to be conscious of how it steers and shapes our perception of nature and status of the world. Actions should be taken, but I would hope they don't ride purely on emotional gut reactions, or to further certain unjust causes, or validate misguided biases and racism. The Philippines and its potential oncoming country-wide martial law as a response to terrorism is plainly mirroring its previous dictatorship in a not so distant past. That is a separate but frightening current example of the extreme of such things if nothing else, but there are many other subtle ways power is adjusted through moments of strife. Not saying it is always for the worst - just something I feel we all should be aware of in tandem with mourning and giving respects. I hope all my friends are safe, as I have seen so far, and sending my best hopes and wishes to those affected. I hope that those responsible see justice and that England and the world community grow stronger together to fight off the offenders and their ideals, and less so in building isolating walls in attempts of certain kinds of narrow minded defense. #londonattacks
Ode to David Bowie by local choir
So sad to be leaving after such a short but great trip in Holland. For those of you I got to catch up with, glad it worked out and until next time!! 😁
