A @seangordonmurphy appreciation post! Got my full run of Batman: White Knight B covers signed by him at @newyorkcomiccon! Unfortunately, even though I looked everywhere in NYCC and @baltimorecomiccon I wasn’t able to find issue 8 variant cover, so ended getting the regular cover for him to sign. Also got New 52 Batman 41 Joker 75th anniversary variant for him to sign because seriously look at that cover! Lovely addition to #thebatmancollectorlibrary !
Got these four signed by the legendary @thealexrossart at @newyorkcomiccon. What was supposed to be a one-hour errand at a ticketed event turned out to be a four-hour thing, and I was technically only allowed two signatures, but the team and Alex were very cool and agreed to sign my Justice League connecting covers (that I had gotten from @baltimorecomiccon). OH and we got two triple-signed copies of Marvelocity. I also gave Alex my photograph of the Harley Quinn/Joker statue, and I was happy to hear him say that he liked it!
Another one of my lucky finds. So we have the full set back home and we decided to just bring the first issue and our reader tbp copy, because we knew we had the chance to see the legendary Dave Gibbons. While waiting in the early morning queue of @baltimorecomiccon Day 1, a guy comes up and asks if we want to buy comics, went through what he had and I see the whole set of Watchmen. Knowing that the first issue alone costs $100 usually, I decided just to ask him how much for the whole set, he wanted only $30! Bought it without a second thought, and then got all 12 of them signed by Gibbons at @newyorkcomiccon! #thebatmancollectorlibrary
The last thing I got from @newyorkcomiccon. It wasn’t on my wishlist because I had to get the set of 3 and it was always overpriced on eBay. But, I saw @aspencomics on my last lookaround before the end of the 4th day, it had a price tag of $100 and I thought it was just for the Batman, or $100 for each, but it was $100 for the set! It was also the last set that they had (from day 2)! Now that’s what I call a lucky find! #thebatmancollectorlibrary
Funny story behind this one, asked a friend to get it for me from their trip, because I really wanted @ssnyder1835 to sign his first Batman comic. Some mismanagement and I couldn’t get the comic from them. So at @baltimorecomiccon I went on a frenzy looking for it, and found one signed by @f_francavilla! I wasn’t going to find him in Baltimore or @newyorkcomiccon so I got it! It got signed by @ssnyder1835 at Baltimore and @jock4twenty at NYCC! #TheBatmanCollectorLibrary
Didn’t post for a while because I was super busy going to @baltimorecomiccon and then @newyorkcomiccon. Here is one of my achievements, Batman: Damned regular cover signed by @brianazzarello and @leebermejoart in silver. Variant cover signed by @brianazzarello @leebermejoart and @jimlee in gold! Huge thank you to @scottscollectables for getting me Lee Bermejo’s signatures. #TheBatmanCollectorLibrary

It’s been a while since I did one of these: #TheBatmanCollectorReviews . I’m sorry! I’ve been swamped with work lately. In this review, we’ll discuss @LootCrate’s Batman Finders Keypers Statue. I had multiple reasons to get this statue, the first being that it’s a “Loot Crate Exclusive”; even though you can easily find the statue on its own even a year after its release date on @amazon or @ebay. Another reason I had to buy this was the price, I don’t remember how much I got it for, but you can find it now on Amazon for less than $20. I also loved the fact that it’s based on @benaffleck’s Batman but it’s not animated-mid-action, since most of the statues based on this Batman are always in the middle of a dramatic move or some attack stance. Cool factor: Some parts glow in the dark! Namely, the eyes, the belt, and the keychain glow in the dark. That is an immediate qualifier for super cool points. Boo factor: A really plasticky look, which isn’t that big of an issue, but I wish the paint had a matte finish. Also, the Bat logo on the chest is a bit stretched out. But hey, its a $20 Batman statue that helps you keep track of your keys.
