forever obsessed with you
it’s been one year. . one year since I got all dressed up for you with my favorite girls by my side. one year since my dad gave me away to you. one year since our families were joined together through love, and you and I became one. one year since the most joy-filled day of my life. I always swore up and down that I wouldn’t get married at our church; my ceremony would NOT be held on a basketball court. But there we were, one year ago, saying “I do” underneath where the old hoop was hung, and dancing on the 3 point line, and I never could’ve dreamt of anything so perfect. I would’ve married you anywhere - I just wanted to be your wife. one year ago, I dreaded the thought of being separated from you in the coming months. however, I know that God set us up for a season of separation because there was work to be done. it has driven me to the realization that although you’re gone physically, you’re present on a spiritual, mental, and emotion level that continually surpasses all of my expectations. even from the other side of the world, you lead me. you protect my heart. you prioritize my happiness in an incredibly selfless way, and I’m constantly blown away by the way you love me. the bed may be empty, but my heart is so full. every day, together or apart, for the rest of our lives - I choose you. happy anniversary, my love✨
in honor of our first anniversary tomorrow (how is that possible?!) I went back to the exact spot that @pgorczok proposed to record the song I wrote for our first dance. full video on Facebook.

monday night aesthetic brought to you by @liagj

Yuliya grew up in a country where it was illegal to be a Christian. When she was nine years old, she received a shoe box from Samaritan’s Purse - Operation Christmas Child that changed the course of her life. Now, she works full time for OCC sharing what a simple shoebox gift can do. I was blessed with the opportunity to hear her testimony and spend some one-on-one time exploring Maine with this beautiful soul. We are SO blessed as a nation to be able to follow Jesus freely! What an incredible weekend✨
forever could never be long enough for me
