I had energy a moment ago! Where did it all go?⠀ ⠀ The last few days I have just needed more time to recharge. If you are feeling this too, it is time for a self care moment.⠀ ⠀ I need to check in on 3 things - food, activity, and energy.⠀ ⠀ 1. Have I eaten and what was it?⠀ Some foods leave me feeling better than others. Fruit in particular is a good one for me. So, if I am feeling low, I’ll grab some fruit! But this may be different for you. What foods tend to lift your spirits and make you feel ready for the day?⠀ ⠀ 2. Have I been pushing myself too much? Or what has been my activity level?⠀ I tend to push myself and then after a few days, it catches up with me and I need a lot more down time. This means more sleep, more video games, and maybe even a quick walk if it is nice out.⠀ ⠀ 3. Have I been taking care of my energy?⠀ Sometimes, a good energy cleanse does the trick. That may mean talking a salt bath, diffusing some incense, getting a reiki session from myself, or popping in a wax melt. ⠀ ⠀ So tell me, have you been feeling a bit low on energy lately?
