Happy New Year from me, Andy. I hope you are all well. If you're in the area, I'll be selling a few of my frames in Cronulla this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Get on down to see other talented stallholders, food trucks, and live music. It's a part of the @cronullalife_ event, which kicks off at 7pm each of those nights in the grounds of Cronulla Anglican Church. Hope to see ya there! Photo: @rachelfaragpottery #myrrhcycles
Been a top first day of the Illawarra Festival of Wood. Come on down tomorrow - a couple of these frames are still available. Cheers for the photo @rachelfaragpottery
Three new Myrrh Cycles frames on the way. Thanks to @backyard_bicycles for supplying donor frames! There's a small, medium and large in the works here. All will be for sale at the Illawarra Festival of Wood, October 6-7 at Bulli Showground (@illawarrafestivalofwood ).
Adam from @cycleexif has just written an excellent article about Myrrh Cycles. I'm super stoked - go check it out!
And that's how I make hollow timber tubes. Simple but still strong. I salvaged this timber which was used to import a new motorboat from Malaysia. An Asian hardwood, I can't work out what species it is, but it's super stiff and not overly heavy - perfect for what I need here. #myrrhcycles
