Before | After | Now ________ So we so often see transformation photos, I myself have done them and they are great for showing what your body can achieve. However we never see that post transformation shot, or that photo of someone having gone back to where they were before it all started. The reality is that often to achieve fat loss you do have to put in quite a bit of discipline to maintain a consistent good diet and regular exercise. _________ Everyone’s body is different and some will respond quicker to a calorie deficit. Having PCOS I seem to have to do beyond the norm to achieve the results I did above, it wasn’t a drastic transformation but my cut last summer did involve macro counting everyday, 4x 1hour weights workouts per week, 25minutes incline walk on the treadmill EVERYDAY and minimum 10k steps on top of that. Now if you are a PT or work in the Fitness industry that might be the norm, but if you are doing a regular job the routine I was doing wouldn’t have been a long term solution and hence I couldn’t keep that up. I have also now got Chronic Fatigue so I have to be a lot more realistic with what I can achieve, some weeks I can smash the gym without a problem, other weeks it’s a struggle to train just twice. I am now trying to find a more happy medium and find that consistency. Am I totally happy with my current physique, honest answer no, but pushing myself to extremes is not a focus for me right now. I want to simply focus on realistic fat through through a good diet and regular exercise within my means.
