A little bit of this and a little bit of that! @happilyedenafter - your little yogis are just too adorable

Sometimes we need this little reminder. Thanks @littlebigwarriorau. Let’s give ourselves and our children room to experience our feelings and the tools to get through difficult ones. ❤️🌈✨

Play is so important for a child’s brain development. It allows children to use their imagination and creativity while developing physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. And while we love free play at home, a good ball pit always puts a smile on our face :) Thanks @nuboplay
Having to do things perfectly is something we struggle with in our house. While it is great to strive to do things well, perfectionism can be unhealthy when it takes over. Teaching your kids to fail and experience disappointment, as well as how to help your child develop a flexible mindset will do wonders for your child’s resilience. #youdonthavetobeperfecttobeamazing

This one is really important. Sometimes, as parents, we can be quick to dismiss our children’s (and our own) feelings when they show up at an inconvenient time. If we want to teach our children to manage their emotions, it is important that we allow children to feel them. You can do by naming feelings in yourself and others, and encouraging your child to do the same. 🙏
