This little guy, much like last year, came just in the nick of time. As an unexpected storm rolled in fast, Nate and I contemplated whether to brave it and fish a couple passes in our favorite spot or just call it a week. We braved it. Duh! Mama K insisted we try and we were off. As we approached our spot, I thanked God for time away and R&R. So grateful. Then we dropped our lines and 2 minutes later, STRIKE. (Not pictured: Nate hooked one first, then I did...in a matter of seconds! 2 baby walleyes!)
Goodbyes are hard. So tonight, we settled on “See ya later Sushi 🍣.” We wish you good luck, love and happiness as you head to California and pursue life in the most fabulous way you know how...in pig tails and an adorable red SnapBack. Thank you for all your help at Dunkirk, @ang.adams . We will miss you soooo much!
