I so love capturing newborn snuggles and features, but some of my most favorite moments are when I get to sneak away with big siblings for a few silly moments. 💕
It’s freezing outside. Like cold-in-your-bones-January-in-Maine-cold. So I’m going to take a minute and dream of playing in the sand on nights like this and remind myself that evenings like that make days like today worth the wait for the absolute best summers.
The greatest honor I can have in this career is to photograph people continuously throughout their lives. Five and a half years ago I photographed Kirsty and Andy’s wedding, and since have photographed their lives as they welcome baby Piper, and this week as they welcomed baby Zoey. So grateful to have this beautiful family in front of my cameras once again. More favorites are on the blog. Link in bio ❤️
Second half of the week, kids!
Snuggly baby AND snuggly pup?! Total win-win. ❤️
Taking her new big sister role very seriously. 💛

It’s time!!! My annual post of favorite images is bigger and better than ever this year. What an incredible year of moments, connection, light, and love. So, so grateful to all who found their way in front of my cameras. See the full collection on the blog! KristinaOBrien.com/Blog (clickable link in bio!). Enjoy! ❤️❤️❤️
Working on the daunting task of choosing my favorites from the year. I swear it gets more difficult each year to whittle it down to just a few from each session. Check back after Christmas for a link to the full post of favorites!
I’ll keep you safe and warm...
This team ❤️ These guys are some of my favorites...more from our chilly session on the coast are on the blog. Link in bio!
Chilly sessions = snuggly sessions, and that is a-ok with me, especially when they involve some of my favorite people. ❤️
The sweetest love ❤️
So much love for this special crew that is on the blog today! Link in bio! ❤️
Adventure buddies ❤️
Just a few weeks to go before this family of three becomes four. ❤️ Also, can everyone please be ok with beach sessions in the winter?! So gorgeous! More on the blog - link in bio!
As I sit and edit on this rainy and snowy day, I find my mind ready to set goals for next year. I'm looking forward to spending my winter working on projects, educating myself, and finally completing that Click Pro application, as well as hopefully enjoying some fun winter sessions. I'm excited to start next year's sessions with a fresh mind, working hard to embrace the chaos of my families while also slowing down and being more deliberate about capturing those sweet moments and details in between. I'm excited to prioritize myself a little more, and maybe make some trips to the beach to clear my mind in the middle of the day instead of just before and after sessions. What about you? Is it too early for goal setting? What are your goals as you wrap up your 2018 and look forward to the 2019 season?
