How could I incorporate this afternoon ritual in my everyday life.
What is it, the occurrence of these senses when you care so much about someone, you become so concern of their well-beings and always on the look out for ways to comfort them, not necessary about pleasing them or being obsessive, but to make sure they know that they’re well-loved by you and never alone. Though, at the same time, carrying within you is this fear that you might be suffocating them and your actions might get interpreted as being needy of their comforts and attentions. I’ve yet to figured out how these emotions are connected, but stumbled on a quote by @ninamontagne this morning, and it had shaded me some light. It goes “Relationships take work and dedication but that work and dedication shouldn’t constantly break you in the process.”💡
I used to get crazy over a bowl of hummus. Not anymore. You can put two bowls in-front of me, and I won’t get excited if there’s a bowl of labneh placed right next to. Labneh, mann, underrated. Now imagine this thick, creamy, tangy cream that tastes very much like cheese but sour...Swoop in naan bread or have it on top of pancakes like I did for breakfast yesterday, sprinkle on some salts and top the whole thing off with sunny side up eggs (yolks dripping down on all sides)....my goodness 😳

We tried mixing in purée avocados in the pancake batter last week and the result was 👌🏼 • the pancakes were almost cake-liked, but spongey, chewy and moist. I topped mine with bananas and yogurt; while my friends had them with bacons and eggs. Pancakes for dinner...Couldn’t get any better than that.
Possibly the biggest Yorkshire pudding I’ve seen.

Making my own sausages for the first time! Been looking forward to this for days, so I got a little carried away and made mine to be Lebanese/ Indian inspired flavors, using spice blend of cumin, parsley, smoked paprika, garlics, nutmeg and ginger. Really, if I could add in a whole bowl of chicken butter and a plate of hummus, I would. But that’ll be for next time 😏 Now, wondering what it’ll taste like, but we’ll see about that early tmr!
