It may have been a little too soon to see the newlyweds, given the fact that my children were literally hanging on them & begging them not to go! 🤦♀️
That time when you’re trying to get to school & I-90 West is CLOSED!!
My sweet boy is 6 years old today! Noah is smart, funny, polite & curious. He loves to eat fish, veggies & popsicles. He could drink a gallon of blue Powerade every day. He’s a master builder of roller coasters on planet coaster & can build a lego faster than I can buy them. Noah, I can’t wait to see how the Lord will use these talents & abilities buddy. So so thankful to be your momma! #teamrupp #noahissix
Normally I’m not a “cry over spilled milk” kind of girl, but this got the better of me. After Madison breaking her knee, me being sick for 2 weeks, Bob traveling & Noah being up all night w/ a double ear infection; dropping & shattering his fresh bottle of antibiotic on the garage floor made me hysterical. #notmyproudestmoment #momlife
Alan Jackson wrote a song about a different Tuesday morning, many years before the one pictured here. Yet his song “Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)” is what comes to mind every time I think of Tuesday, July 4, 2017. @marcabbatacola passed from here to eternity with his Heavenly Father, but for a moment (many, many moments, hours, days and weeks actually), the world as we knew it stopped turning. 6 months later, it’s only through my hope & faith in Jesus Christ, that I can bear the sadness I still feel. Trusting the Lord to continue to show us all great things through the life and death of our dear friend, Marc.
