Seeing mature couples walking together around the lake is so incredibly sweet. 💕
Happy Fi-Yay vibes❗ ☆ 😋 ☆☆☆☆
Sometimes you have to trust your heart & follow the path with the wind blowing gently in your face. ▫️ Been engulfed in strategy plans, mind maps and loads of learning so been quieter than normal on IG, until I figure out a rhythm. ▫️ Love, love all the energy of new projects. Let the journey begin ❣ ▫️ What's your past few weeks been like? ▫️ ▫️ ▫️ ▫️▫️▫️ ••This pics for you Harvey - Happy Birthday, thank you for your kindness ••
On the flip side... ◽ ◽ ◽ ... Of my last post, is a face that makes me smile deeply. ◽ ◽ ◽ Right here is pretty much my view at multiple points in any given day. ◽ ◽ ◽ It's them 👀 's that get ya. ◽ Fuzzy is possibly the sweetest thing, ever. ◽ And... a complete attention hog. There is always hope for belly rubs, cuddles and of course in return thank you licks. ▫️ So tell me, are you a dog person❔ 🐾🐾🐾🐾
Photos make me cringe 😜 Like legitimately inside and out. ◽ So for all you folks out there who would rather be taking shots of things other than themselves.... can I get a 🤚. ◽ This ones for you.
"If you feel like a freak inside, it can be hard to do something beautiful, To put it out there". -David Kelling / Culture Abuse 🏴 No matter how others see you - how you see yourself determines your reality. 🏴 Been digging up old mental crap to purge and feeling "photo uninspired" and physically cruddy. 🏴 Previously I would avoid this sort of topic in my own head and with others, but real is real. Gonna sit with my old ideas of myself and to do lists and work thru feelings that no longer suit me. 🏴 On a mild tangent this pic is part of a panoramic of Orlando that feels a bit deep & matches my thoughts. 😘
Laughter always wins💕 😄 Been thinking back on our Iowa/Nebraska trip - makes me throw my head back & laugh. 😄 It was such a refreshing experience and has a found a fond place in my heart. 😄 Here's "that spot" again .... one of the 600 photos I took of it while the light played its games. 😄 It probably helped that this babe is soooo dahhm photogenic❣ 🤗 We spent a lot of time taking pictures together. 🤗
Rainbows are everywhere 🌈
If I ever had any doubt that Florida, specifically Orlando, is behind the times, all I need do is look at Omaha Nebraska for confirmation. 🔸️ We stopped for a "pep me up juice/coffee" before heading to the airport, across the street is this lovely electric bikes rental. 🔸️ The bikes are partially sponsored by the Nebraska environmental trust. 🔸️ It seems that cleaner living options are actually considered in the heartland. 🔸️ Omaha❗ Yet another way you impressed. 🔸️ Where is someplace you have been that surprised you?
There will never be anyone exactly like you in the world, ever. 🌱 You're Uniquely U - live it, own it, share it. 🌱 [[This exotic looking plant is a young staghorn fern. They get their moisture and nutrients from the air and require a sheltered area to flourish. Native to Australia, staghorns love Florida humidity - me not so much. 😄]]. 🌱 What's your fav thing about yourself ? ... I'll start. 🌱 I love to share knowledge and encourage others to be (and share) the best version of themselves.
Seeing Angels lately. 😇😇 No really, human angel's are the best kind. 😇 They are the ones who are always there for you during big events and high stress. They support and cheer and get in the trenches to help or just provide comic relief like this one here. 😇 It doesn't matter the situation you can be assured Human Angel's will stick with you thru lean times and celebrate the moments that need that too. 😇 I'm grateful to know a few Angels myself. In honor of D, Verna, Teresa and my Hubbly. ▫️ You're on different missions but are still Heaven sent. 😘 🙏🙏 Speaking of angels, how sweet is my little friend here? 😇
Quaint, old world for the win! 🏆 If you have read any of my posts for the last month or so, you know that my Midwest trip was a beautiful surprise. 🏆 We visited the Old Market after a long day of exploring the countryside and needing food before heading back across the Iowa border late on a Sunday. After a quick search we took a risk and ended up at @jackson_st_tavern. 🏆 It was quiet, cozy feeling and the food was fantastic - did I mention the view was inviting and the prices reasonable? 🏆 Omaha you did us proud❣ So impressed, wanting to explore more 🏆 Ok, Tell me about someplace outstanding.
The Gathering Place; 🦆 We are working for Labor Day, but I might be strolling here if we were free. In Orlando "Lake life" is a thing ... 🦆 Even though we are not terribly far from the ocean, being at #lakeeola seems to have been popular for about a Century. I suppose with this view who can blame 'em? 🦆 I am not really one for tourist attractions, but the day we were there the boats were moored and too pretty not to photograph. 🦆 Swan boats on Lake Eola are iconic. It seems they date back to around 1920 (there's even this cute postcard with a multi-seat swan boat gliding on the water in local writer Joy W Dickinson's collection). 🦆 Happy Labor day (in the US) and Happy Monday everywhere else. 🦆 What spots do you enjoy that are a piece of local history? 🦆
Writing grateful 🙏 Have you ever been on a trip that could have gone either way? I mean; It could have been a filled with joy or a cryin in your cups kinda trip? That was this last trip...... 🙏 Family can be a fickle friend when you have as many people in one spot as we do. 🙏 I know they will always be there, but I tend to be the odd person out and have juuust enough of a different viewpoint that even they look at me strangely. 🙏 This trip though, was like gliding along a smooth lake in a kayak - calm and beautiful so you can really enjoy your surroundings. 🙏 Like this spot @lakeeola 🙏 Sooo grateful! What are you most grateful for?
Cob or pen? Say whaaaat? 🐦 I know, I know, but they are cool names. 🐦 On a recent foray downtown, Fuzzy and I were nearly back to our vehicle when we happened upon a group of water birds. 🐦 This Cob (male) or Pen (female) swan was preetttyy sure that we were interesting and waddled right behind us quite a ways. 🐦 I wasn't sure if he thought I had food that I would part with, OR as a jogger mentioned "my dog was a good snack".🤔 🐦 Either way the swan was a bit intimidating since his head reached my mid-region aaandd I saw a white swan intimidate a gaggle of geese earlier in the day 🐦 Thankfully Fuzzy can be single minded and was interested in sniffs farther along rather than noticing our guest. 🐦🐦 Did you know black swans are the State bird for Western Australia? 🐦🐦 Also there is an aboriginal story about how a white swan was betrayed by jealous, mean neighbor birds pulling out the humble animals feathers and a sympathetic crow giving the injured swan feathers of his own to save him and turning him black. 🐦🐦 Indigenous cultures are something I find particularly fascinating. 🐦🐦 I gotta wonder if this story is intended to demonstrate how to behave or that there choices to make.... 🐦 What do you think?
Some dreams feel unattainable ✖ Like there is a wall between you and peace, or stability or trips abroad. ✖ It isn't impossible and you DO have it within you - there need only be dedication and focus on your dream. ✖ Each day is a new gift layed out before you with infinite possibilities- how are you gonna show up? ✖ After a rough Tues at our multi, I am reminded that moments are fleeting and I am in it to win it. 😘 What about you ? Tell me something you had to "remember" to be about today.
Today sucked, seriously 📍 Doesn't matter, you keep on going and let the challenges fall away. 📍 So here's a nice pop of color. 📍 These always remind me of fireworks when I look real close.
