One of my favourite upstyles this season! Messy can be a very very good thing ♥️
Dreaming of the ocean 🌊 . This photo is from the end of last summer in beautiful Victoria. We definitely fell in love with the island and can’t wait to go back! Where’s your favourite holiday destination in Canada?
Soft and sleek twisted style on this lovely bridesmaid! 💁🏼♀️
There’s something so satisfying about creating a shade that invited the comment “wow that color could be your natural!”. I relied on my Schwarzkopf Vibrance and Igora Royal to create this and I’ll share exactly how! We started with heavily hi lighted Blonde. 1. Glaze with 8-77, 9-65 & 0-00, process for 10 minutes. 2. Rinse and dry the hair. 3. Apply 20g 8-4 & 20g 8-77 with 20 volume to regrowth area 4. Add another 20g of 8-77 and 20 volume into existing formula and apply to mid lengths and ends 5. Process for 30 minutes 6. Rinse and treat with Fiberplex #2 7. Blowout & wave 8. 📷 ............... ............... #morevibrance #skpyes #skppro #schwarzkopfpro #yegstylist #canadianstylist #stylistssupportingstylists #stylistshopconnect #yegbeauty #yegstyle #redheadsdoitbest #coloristsofinstagram #mytribe #bestfriend #loveofthecraft #shoplocalyeg #urbanyeg #yeg ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @schwarzkopfcan @schwarzkopfpro
Happy Friday IG fam! As we all know, balayage (or babylighted faux-layage for my blondies) is the ultimate in breezy low maintenance color, but sometimes the summer temps and UV rays can wreak havoc on your strands. Did you know that you can book a “trim, tone and treat” appointment to add the gloss and condition back into your mane and take off the dead ends? Sometimes it’s all you need to refresh your hair and fall back in love with your balayage. ☀️
Check out this gorgeous copper on my bestie, can you believe she came in blonde?! She travelled all the way from beautiful Victoria for this transformation and I’d say it was worth it. 😍
Happy Saturday! This amazing transformation wasn’t quick or easy but it was well worth it. I LIVE for these days. 1. Balayage ends until desired level is achieved. 2. Full head of paper fine baby lights (leaving out lightened ends). 3. Melt 6-12 & 7-0 in #morevibrance into the balayage transition line in between the foils. 4. Rinse and tone with 9-1, 9-0 and 9.5-1 (also vibrance) 5. Shadow root with same formula used on the transition. 6. Apply full head of #hotheadshairextensions 7. Revel in the gorgeousness 😍
Check out the beautiful @katrinagagnon showing off her gorgeous new locks on the East Coast! I don’t know what’s more beautiful...her or this beautiful country we are lucky enough to call home!?! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous shot Katrina!🇨🇦
Firstly, thanks for sticking around during my brief IG hiatus! Sometimes things get crazy but I’m back with a BIG transformation for you today! In my next post of this look I will detail the process but for now... swipe to see our first and second session before shots, and enjoy the total #hairgoals after shot of the beautiful Katrina! Thank you @schwarzkopfcan and @hotheadshairextensions for making this possible. 💛💛💛 . . . . . . . #beforeandafterhair #yegextensions #yegextensionist #stalbertlife #stalberthair #yeggirls #edmontonphotographer #brondebalayage #longhairbalayage #narcity #skpyes #hotheadshairextensions #stalbertstylist #yegstylist #yegbeauty
It’s summertime and it’s Friday, what could be more wonderful than that?! Cheers to the weekend! Can’t wait to watch my talented and beautiful coworker @ladybshair walk down the aisle tomorrow! What are your weekend plans?!
Katrina’s high contrast balayage is the result of 3 sessions of hand painting with a few baby lights thrown in for good measure! Because of her patience and taking such great care of her hair we were able to take her natural dark brown to a pretty blonde on the ends with no damage or drying. 🥂💛 #slaythatbalayage
Good morning! I just wanted to share that I will be out of the salon from June 23rd to July 9th. I will be spending quality time with my little family in BC, enjoying some much needed R & R! I’m fully booked before I leave and my first couple weeks back are booking up so please try to contact me before Friday to snag your spot when I get back! Can’t wait to see you all and get back into some hair when I’m back in the salon! What are your vacation plans this summer?? 💙
To my dad. The first and best career advice you ever gave me was “find something you love to do, and you will find a way to make it pay.” So proud to say I did that and it’s true, and I will pass that advice down to my child. Thank you for all your support over the years, I love you. ♥️
Happy Father’s Day to my amazing husband. Our son is so lucky to have you in his life, you taught him how to fish, how to ride a bike, how to write his letters and you show him every day how to love and be a good person. Today and every day, we love you. 💛💙
Happy Friday IG fam! I was nominated by my beautiful friend @definitionmakeup to post a selfie and 10 random facts about me so here it is! 1. I was born in England and have moved across the pond 3 times (all before age 12) 🇬🇧 2. If I weren’t a hairstylist the only other career I could imagine is lawyer 🤷🏼♀️ 3. I moved cities 6 times between 19 & 24 4. Despite being a girlie girl, I ADORE being a boy mom 5. I am obsessed with peanut butter pickle sandwiches on toasted brown bread 6. I did my first set of foils at age 11 using a pencil to section and a box of Blondissima 🤦🏼♀️(I know better now lol) 7. I get physical withdrawals from travelling and have to leave the city every so often just to keep my sanity 8. My husband calls me boujee cause my favourite drink is champagne (apparently I’m not a cheap date )🥂 9. It took me 7 years after it’s release to watch Game of Thrones but now I’m OBSESSED (Khaleesi is my soul mate) 10. My husband and I have known each other since we were kids and he told my dad he was going to marry me WELL before we ever went on a date! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• There it is folks! I nominate @beautydamage 😘
Money pieces and rooty blends are my happy place 👌
We heavily babylighted Alysha with my fav Blonde Me lightener to break up her base color and add subtle brightness to her grown out balayage. Glossed with 8-19, 8-46 and 9-65 w/ 6 vol in Vibrance. Playing with natural lighting for this photo... what do you think??
