Me moment #260 Personally this summer has been a whirlwind of life events, feelings and change. A couple months ago I felt very stuck, unsure and guilty. I have worked on the art of letting go more actively than I have had to in a very long time. And it has been liberating. I think back to where I was in May/June and it feels like a lifetime ago. And it kinda was. I'm a new person and I'm happy with who I am. I am happy with the people I share my energy with. For the first time in way too long- I'm happy. That's not to say I don't struggle and have things that weigh on me and make me sad- but I know in my heart that everything will work out and that I'm on the right path. Listen to your heart and you will find your way ❤

This little fellow is more considerate and attentive then alot of people....ALL animals deserve the most basic of rights- not to be killed. We are all capable of being vegan- it's not hard. You just don't pay for products that are made with violence. It's easy when you stop making it about you. It's not about us- it's about them. Me moment #258 I read that one of the best ways to impliment a habit is to physically mark it completed on your calander everyday. Once we see it in the physical our brains want to keep that accomplishment going and not mess up the chain. . It can be small or big- make it something you have the ability to achieve. I'm going to stretch for atleast 5 minutes everyday😊 So what habit are you going to dedicate yourself to for the next 30 days?
I've read articles (written by those who profit off of killing these animals) that claim that they do not have emotions. That they only cry to clear their eyes. I honestly can't even express how fucking stupid us humans are. How naive. How ego driven. How pathetic. How selfish. How ignorant. Sometimes I just cant. If you aren't vegan go watch some slaughterhouse footage and you tell me if these babies know that they are about to be murdered. You tell me if they feel pain. If they cry and try to run from their impending doom. You tell me if you want to keep supporting it. How many times do you make the same mistake before learning the lesson? Personally I could learn alot from this raccoon 😊 animals are so intellegent. I'm hoping this is a wildlife rehabilitation center because animals do not belong in captivity.
Someone ate the last of my vegan cheese so I made zucchini for a snack instead of quesadillas- I'm actually not disappointed. Since going vegan my taste buds have changed so dramatically, I don't even recognize myself sometimes. It took me 45 seconds to cut up the zucchini, Sautee it for a few minutes (no oil needed, use cast iron pans instead of nonstick) and add a bit of salt. Being vegan is so hard 😂
