Even a penguin can 'cast a long shadow'. Dream big!
As the temperatures drop, I get sad knowing the summer has gone...but then I remember fall colours in the tombstones.

Small but deadly, wolverines (aka the skunk bear) are one of the most ferocious animals in the Northern Hemisphere - and are known to fend off bear and wolf attacks @thehughjackman
No emails, no texts, no Wikipedia. No social media. Sitting by the fire under the midnight sun. Passing the time with stick ball - literally a stick and tennis ball for fun. Following wolf tracks around our camps. Checking out relics of former bustling settlements along the river. Drifting silently by moose and locking eyes with curious bears. Sailing our canoes with tarps and watching rain clouds roll by in the distance. It was a great adventure. The word 'adventure' is used so loosely that its lost its lustre. While adventure can be in forms of both big and small, I think the essential element of adventure is experiencing something new. A new experience implies that you don't know the outcome, you're not sure you'll even like it. Most importantly, a new experience means you're learning something new - growing as a person. Adventure can be done solo but I think it's best shared. I'm not the societal authority for what classifies an adventure...Or am I 🤔 What does adventure mean to you?

There's always that place that you can only access certain times of the year - without being an absolute sufferfest For me, it's that place is the Tombstones. Almost perpetually covered in snow, it opens up for a brief season. That season is almost upon us and I can't wait to get back up there! What's your place? 📷@yurichoufour
