PR’s make me happy 😃 I was mid Back day (had no intention on deadlifting of any sort) when my guy @justanothermomon tags me in his post of a 600# deadlift. So this is my response 500# x 5, The last time I did this I struggled to get one and I also weighed 15# more. I guess that goes to show size doesn’t = strength. This fall we will both hit 6 and then maybe push for 7. I love sharing my passion with others. Some friends and some things never change!
This was a goodbye lunch with a great client, but an even better friend. It makes me sad to say goodbye. James deserves a lot of credit. In a little less then a years time he gained 13lbs 170lbs ——-> 183lbs. Shoulders 45.5in ——> 48 7/8in. Chest 37.25in ——> 39.5in. Thigh 20.75in ——-> 23.25in. Hit new 1RM for all of his compound lifts Bench,Squats, and Deadlifts. He had aesthetic goals and strength goals. And he crushed them all and never made any excuses. The last time I saw him he expressed his thanks to me for the help reaching his goals. But the truth is as a Coach I believe in education and hard work. James listened and executed. I wanna say James that I may have educated but I wasn’t there when you made the choice to goto the gym on your lunch break, I wasn’t there when you chose to eat a higher protein diet. It was your choice to do all the things you did. I am beyond proud of you and belief that you will continue to take everything you learned and continue to progress past everything you have already achieved. Safe travels friend. Forever #St_rong
