First true sunset since our arrival in Hawaii 3 weeks ago 🌅 The vog finally cleared and the colors came out! | This is our view from the lanai thanks to two amazing friends who are letting us stay here for 7 weeks while they are away. #nofilter #iphonephoto #feelinglucky
Lava tube exploration! 👣
We have completed one of six weeks working on a coffee plantation. During our time in Hawaii we hope to learn everything coffee ☕️ We are working for Mountain Thunder Coffee, a plantation that sits at 3,200 feet elevation in the Kona district. We are feeling lucky to have found such a great spot and have the opportunity to learn each stage of the process from farm to cup. #cantbelievewehavejobs
Celebrating 4 years of marriage today! We’ve tested our relationship in all sorts of ways, especially in the last 2 years of travel. I think if we can survive 2 years of being together nearly all day everyday then we’re doing pretty good. Cheers to always putting in the effort and making life better and better year after year. #love
Aloha Hawaii 🏖👙🐠 Thank you @t1naf0x and @jfox1214 for such a warm welcome! 💕
We’ve been back in the US for 2 months now and have been lucky to have visited lots of new and familiar places. We’ve gotten to spend time with many people we have been missing since being away. After driving 7k+ miles we visited MO, AR, TX, MA, CT, MD, VA, and CO. Thanks to all the friends and family who have taken us in. Now it’s time to prepare for the next adventure!
Two years ago today we pulled out of the Estes Park driveway and began this crazy journey of full time travel. We moved out of our Denver house in May 2016 and officially left Colorado on June 16, 2016. We have had the most incredible past 2 years and experienced so many places and things I don’t even quite know how to express how proud/grateful/humbled/every other emotion we feel. We have visited 4 continents, 14 countries, 13 US states, 20 US national parks, and an unknown amount of UNESCO World Heritage sites. After all that we have slept in 382 different locations. The memories created, the people we’ve met and the lessons we’ve learned along the way are so abundant and so fulfilling we could not be more grateful. This has been a dream come true. In the past 2 years we have completely stepped out of our comfort zones and challenged ourselves both mentally and physically. Travel has opened our minds and allowed us to see the world with a whole new perspective. At times it can be overwhelming and difficult to process it all. We do our best to savor each and every day. We know this lifestyle won’t last forever but for now we are just soaking it up. Thank you to every single person who has helped us along the way, given us advice, or even just passed on a smile. We live in an incredible world and we are so so fortunate to have seen so much of it. #timetocelebrate
After nearly 5-months traveling around New Zealand we are back in the US spending time with family/friends and doing a little exploring in our own back yard. Thankfully the travels aren’t over just yet!
The hut system is one of our favorite aspects about NZ. This hut was built into the side of a rock wall which makes up part of the roof.
Happy Memorial Day weekend! Hope everyone has somewhere or someone nice to spend it with!
The stars on this night were insane. We hiked 23 km to get here and shared the Hut with only one other hiker. It was perfect!! ✨
A nice NZ fall dusting on the mountain tops. We were glad to be sleeping in a hut on these cold nights.
