Heading Out For A Weekend With The Boys
Self Portrait At My Optometrist
Elbow and “boat” and suicide fence
This is our cat, Snowy. She was my younger daughter’s cat. Almost every morning when I woke up for work she’d be waiting for me to let her out of the house. The young children down the street would often come by in the afternoons to see her. If being pet was a paid gig, she’d have been a pro. When she was in the front yard and wanted to come in, she’d jump up and hang on the screen, looking in the window until somebody noticed. A week ago she was taken by a coyote. I let her out first thing in the morning; she never came back. They say if you love something set it free, and if it comes back it’s yours to keep. In this case it was the other way around. Snowy adopted us. Ten years ago she showed up on the front yard, and decided that we were good enough to live with. Well Snowy, thanks for choosing us. Rest In Peace. We love you. • P.S. A few hours after posting this I discovered today is #internationalcatday
Cloud and tree and couple.
Photo of the little-known Mediterranean Yacht Pointer. On an even more serious note, do you see the outline of a dog on her side? Almost like it’s mimicking her pose? See that?! What the heck??? If have NO idea how it got there!
Oh thanks, Yellow Sign! Way to keep me in suspense! End of what? Telemarketers? Arab-Israeli conflict? Civilization Due To Global Warming? What what what???!?
“I poured spot remover on my dog. Now he's gone.” Steven Wright
“Something I like to do a lot is just sit by water when there's a current and just stare into the water. I don't fish, I don't hunt, I don't scuba, I don't spear, don't boat, don't play basketball or football - I excel at staring into space. I'm really good at that.” Iggy Pop
“We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same boat now.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
