Curry will always be the Malaysian's favourite comfort food 🥘We cook our curry from scratch and we exclude "santan" in our curry. We use many vegetables though in order to emulate the perfect curry that we'd like. Made from scratch i.e. our commitment since 2014 💪🏻 It is the back bone of our daily operation and it is a principle that the whole Team Epic is upholding. We agree our food is the product of labour of love, and as such we promise ourselves to work harder than anyone else on our fresh ingredients. For instance, we don't even take short cut like sourcing meatballs from suppliers when we can, instead we hand mince and hand make the chicken meatballs ourselves. I hope you stop and read us: Year 2018 has been an arduous journey for Team EPiC amidst rising food cost and labour market tightness. Most food operators were seen either increasing their menu prices or lowering the food qualities. We were further saddened to see many restaurants that served great food ceased operations in this turbulent year. We too have had our fair share of lows during the year. We were dazed by the entrance of a number of food delivery aggregators that had the financial muscle to offer heavy discounts to acquire customers. And our team was actually thinking – are we doomed? “Not yet!” I told our team. We are different. At EPiC, we are all about real flavours, fresh ingredients and fast delivery. The blood and sweat, the passion, commitment and more often than not, the struggles it takes to produce beautiful food and deliver it on time to our customers is truly an awe-inspiring, epic feat. We love what we do, and we’ll do it with undying spirit and tenacity. EPiC was founded because of our love for good food that is made from scratch using only fresh and real ingredients. We’re passionate in sharing this good food with everyone in Malaysia in the most convenient way through innovations and the adoptions of technology. In our early days, we were ecstatic when customers gave us good feedback which many did and most became our regulars. And there were times when you get the opposite. It happened. And we would always assess our mistakes and double our efforts to avoid the same errors from happening again. Four years and still counting. We’re committed to source the very best ingredients we can find; to make our very own sauces from scratch; to cook all the food to order in our kitchen; and to deliver (serve) the food timely and tastily every day. We’re committed because we believe the secret to good food lies in selecting and using only fresh, whole ingredients. Nothing beats a freshly prepared meal. To all our customers, I’m writing today to also thank you for the trust and patience you have placed in us. We’re truly sorry that sometimes we failed to live up to our own food quality and delivery standards, and in so doing, we let you down.
