Two weeks has sorta flown bye 🙂 The final bruises are passing. The bruise on my stomach is from one of the heparin shots. They gave me heparin shots every four hours so for a few days my entire stomach was so swollen and bruised. My whole torso and upper body was basically covered in bruises the first week. It’s so much better now! The picture on the left is 42 days into a test group I joined on January 15. So freaking happy with my results! More importantly I was having such a good time doing this program and meal prepping. The picture on the right is two weeks no exercise & eating well. So many of you have brought me absolutely amazing meals! I cannot thank you enough! It’s going to be hard for me to maintain my muscle mass but I’m gonna do my best. I have at least another four weeks to rest the fractures in my spine. Another eight weeks before I can put pressure on my left hand. I miss teaching a lot! I want to give a huge shout out to Joanna. We started a test group together on 1/15. Her whole family has been rocking it out! Unfortunately I won't be able to finish. My results were amazing. I won't be able to work out for awhile but I love I can it forces me to really focus on nutrition! Here is Joanna's testimonial..... "Non-Scale Victory for AMERICA! 🇺🇸 Yesterday, a surprise Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) was planned for me for this morning. (In my early 20s on active duty I routinely maxed out the score with a 300/300. In my old age in the Reserves, my scores haven’t been so hot.) The APFT consists of 2 minutes of pushups - and I mean real pushups, not AirForce pushups 😂, 2 minutes of sit-ups, and I mean real sit ups, not AirForce or Navy sit-ups, and a 2-mile run. Thanks to 80 Day Obsession, my scores increased dramatically since my last test! And not only that, but I was selected to go to Warrant Officer School- so I really need to get in shape for that and this is definitely doing the trick! Pushups: 45 (increased by 6), 💯% up from 87% Sit-ups: 81 (increase by 10), 💯% up from 88% Run - 17:37 (reduced time by 75seconds!) 88% up from 74% Total Score: 288/300 up from 249!!! That’s almost 40 points improvement!! (note: I LOVE and have so much respect for all Service Members of every branch ❤️🇺🇸)" Love you girl!!!!!
Swelling, bruising, pain is slowly reducing. I can’t believe it’s been one week since the accident. It’s going to take 10 weeks for my hand to heal. No pressure or use other than hand therapy for 10 weeks .... I have one more minor surgery on my hand in about two weeks. The two fractures in my spine should heal in about 6 to 8 weeks. I’m not going to be at the studios for a while but I’m really looking forward to getting back to coaching which is basically the only thing I can do right now at home. I can’t exercise but I can support you, your movement and help with nutrition. I’ve gotten some help and my coaches are freaking awesome! This whole time they have kept our accountability groups smoothly running! @lindsaydaughertywellness @cryssy8 @debekenworthy I ❤️ you guys! I think a few people took my earlier post the wrong way. I wasn’t being negative at all I was trying to show that I was being optimistic. I’m the proudest #lefthander EVER!!! If you personally know me you know I’m pretty positive 🤗 So I will give you more positive here’s why love being left-handed... We Adapt to changes more quickly Better at multitasking Presidential qualities Athletic excellence Intelligence Lefties adjust their eyes underwater faster And I’m sure there’s a lot more to add to this list 🙂 Trust me I’m in good spirits! I’m grateful and happy to be alive! Things happen for reason I’m sure something pretty amazing is coming my way 💕 oh and that’s not just the painkillers talking 🙂
