Nerada Organic Tea from above!
The day we did this loop was hectic! Left a free camp near Atherton, drove the circuit, took tonnes of photos, aaaand then drove out to Tully to another free camp. Ohhh the things you do. Can’t wait to sell our camper and then we don’t have to tow or worry about towing it all day between camp spots!!
I absolutely LOVE tea so it was awesome to see what it looks like growing! Shame the place wasn’t even open though 😂 Note to self: google before driving an hour!!
We absolutely loved the waterfall loop in Atherton!
Paronella Park! We admired this place from the bridge and waterfall here because were trying to choose the BEST things to spend our adventure money on! Unfortunately this place wasn’t one of them. But it was beautiful from afar, and if we had more money we may have gone in. ☺️ Travelling our beautiful country on our FIRST lap is all about a ‘taste test’ and we don’t want to do everything first time either. So were picking and choosing certain things and will save what we don’t do for our laps in the future 😜

Imagine if we were looking at this waterfall in the wet season! Stopped to have a look on our way down the mountain from Kuranda. ☺️
Had to go have a look at the Kuranda Markets while we were in Cairns. Alannah got a green juice that she thought had sugar cane juice in it, but turns out it didn’t 😭oops. I had sugar cane and coconut water coffee. Yum! 😃
Stopped in to check out Fruit Bat Falls on out way down from the Cape.
It was awesome to go see the WW2 plane wrecks. This is what is left of a DC-3 after it crashed on the 5th of may 1945 en-route to New Guinea. There are also thousands of old fuel drums scattered throughout the peninsula.
We stayed at Muttee Head for about a week! We have no idea on the specifics because we didn’t even know what the day was. We explored the tip, relaxed, made epic campfire food (cakes, fish burgers, curries mmmm mmmm), drank some good beer, and soaked up the sunshine! The best part? It was FREE!! And we had the best camping area there.... Go left and camp at the tyre swing!
Decided to see why Alannah keeps climbing trees... Still don’t know what all the fuss is about? Maybe its so she feels tall. 🤷🏼♂️
Finally managed to pull up something decent!
For some reason @kieran kept getting all the big fish. 😔
Bloody stoked on life! Who’d have thought we’d make such epic friends in a RV carpark in Katherine...!? Bonding over the fact we all bought too much food and couldn’t fit it all in.
Rigging up for the tenth time after losing all my new lures on something BIG! 😡 On another note, our latest video is now LIVE on Youtube! Go check it out! Link in bio. 🙂
Sippin away, feeling fancy with our coconuts! 🥥
If you lose your Llama, look in the trees. Often found pretending to be a Monkey. And worrying Bradley. Always. 🐒🌳
