#DieDaily partnered with @thenysum & @rootsnycchurch to host a block party outreach in Queens, NYC this past weekend. Kids played, people were fed lunch and dinner, and we rapped and shared the Gospel to over 600 people living in the Woodside Projects. Can’t wait to go back to NYC!
#BeyondTheBooth with #DieDaily member @handymankyle In 1988 Kyle was born and raised in a group home facility located in East Tennessee, where he hosted his first christian hip hop concert at the age of 15. He continued to host different outreach events throughout his high school career, which allowed him to cultivate great relationships within the CHH industry, including fellow #DieDaily co-founder Marcus Kadence Jackson. At the age of 19, Kyle became the road manager for a music label, and was assigned to a newly signed group called "MOT!" which included Xavier Omar, Freeman and Elhae. In his 20's he joined a small team of urban missionaries who lead church groups to NYC for short term mission trips. During the past 10 years he has lead over 600 people on mission trips. He always stayed connected with his CHH friends and assisted many artists with booking, social media management and branding. In 2013 Kyle and Kadence founded the Die Daily Team to encourage CHH fans and artists alike that music is not the end goal, but it's a tool that guides people to the end goal, which is to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Kyle currently serves as the new Director of City Reach Institute in New York City, which is a Christ-Centered discipleship program that teaches students how to effectively do various styles of urban ministry. He also is a key ministry leader for NYSUM (New York School of Urban Ministry, Inc.) as he leads mission teams around NYC teaching and training them how to do ministry in the urban context.
ANNOUNCEMENT from @cjluckeydope Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” We were not placed on this earth only to strive for happiness and our life is not meant to be lived for ourselves. Jesus has called us to see our places, communities, neighborhoods, and families as our mission field. We are called to the same life because we cannot live selfish lives and expect to make a difference. We must “die daily” every single day. It usually isn’t easy to do, but God will always give us His grace to do what’s right when we lean on him. And the truth is, living an unselfish life is the best way to have more righteousness, peace and joy every day. It’s my absolute honor to be apart of this brotherhood and movement as we continue the mission of living for Christ, dying to self and serving others! I’m excited to announce I’m the new member of the @diedailyteam DIE DAILY, LIVE FOREVER!
