Today was a huge step for me. I met with Physcyatris and have a plan. This gives me hope and happiness knowing things can be better. I would have never made it if it wasn't for Suzy calling around and finding someone that would work for me. Thank you babe. I had a huge melt down a little while back. Things for me were at a breaking point and I know I needed help but couldn't help myself. I run ups and downs pretty hard to where when I am up I don't feel anything is wrong and when low I can't function. I wish I could give advice or know how to help others with this type of battle, but I don't. All I can say is that the lows and moments you think all is lost and there is no hope will pass and things will get better. I grabbed this photo because I felt good and the sun was out. Side note my biceps are now too big for normal blood pressure cuffs. It had to be taken on my forearm💪! Woot 😂
A little throw back 2 years ago when I was a General Manager of a high end home automation company. Was sporting the rugged construction worker look and probably trying to grow a November beard.
Perks of my job is being able to get out and about and stop sometimes. I use to be stuck in a office and felt trapped. Now my feelings are all over the place and I use these moments to calm myself and try to remain grounded. Sometimes mental health gets the better of me but not today. I fought hard to not go into my dark place and this stop really helped.
Ain't gonna die tonight!
Chicken coop repairs. I still have some farm boy work to do. Found my Hawks hat and I'm on a boat sweatshirt. Woot!
2nd leg day focused on hammies! Searching for my limit. I find it funny pushing my deadlift numbers higher than my squats. They are both within 10lbs of each other currently. Which one will be the first over 500. So far starting off workouts with a strength lift and then hypertrophy training has been working out really good. I can feel traction and am stoked for what I want to build. Never give up on yourself and keep fighting to find your way through life. #pnw #deadlift #gym #training #strengthtraining #bodybuilder #hypertrophy #npc #npcoregon #otomix
Last night shoulder training. Progress video. I have work to do. When I asked Patrick about his shirts coming with Traps he is right the cut is dam good. This shirt is not my favorite color but material is amazing and moves with the body and is unlike any other shirt I've work in the gym.
Finishing off chest day and someone grabbed a video of me😮. My training going forward includes getting core under control. I have not used a belt in the last 2 years of training and my core has became too big. After speaking with a coach we decide to start work on symmetry. Part of this is getting waist smaller and creating a great physqiue. This is what I really love about bodybuilding. It is learning about your body and molding it like clay. Creating the look you want and using the tools we have. Sometimes we get in ruts and stuck. We have to break free and sometimes there is not someone there to tell you what to do. You have to figure it out. I don't have all answers but one thing I know is don't ever give up. I am lucky and have my best friend by my side and she never let's me give up. I have been through a lot this year and wanted to give up on everything. @suzykins13 was there to kick me in the ass and remind me of why I started this journey. Thank you babe! 💜💪 Thank you to @odins.gym for opening a gym we can escape to and train the way we want.
Second to last working set. I use a rotation that is working nicely and is drastically increasing my strength. This weight was last week's 5th set that I got for 3. This week it was 5reps on 4th set meaning I add weight to final set. 5th set is my working set and the phone battery died so I didn't get the 425 recorded. I have really started to find a groove with training and am noticing increase in strength and change in physqiue. Diet is cleaned up and all injuries from this year are healed and good to go. This is my journey to 585lb squats. Special thank you to Suzy for spotting me and her encouragement. Without her I would not have made it this far.
