Here is the breakdown 👈 Quite frankly I was tired of constantly sinking so much money but most importantly personal time to fix the AMG's and still find issues surfacing regardless of all the effort put in. To me the AMG's to an extent were bleeding me dry and taking away the love of the enjoying part in the hobby. Nonetheless the E and Ml will be kept forever and fixed up in time and made into true monsters nobody has ever seen, but in the meantime I wanted to have a car that would serve me long and well and most importantly in style. The 1977 300D definitely fit the bill in the looks department especially after I slam her and the reliability department with the million mile motor. It is truly amazing and I couldn't be happier that I own and maintain myself two of the baddest big boy and truly loved V8 engines (m113 5.4l and m156 6.2l) AMG has ever produced to date and now have a reliable, loyal "something very rare nowadays", diesel that is all mechanical and simply a joy to work on as well!
