Don't leave like the rain.
Something I did as requested by @melonberryy :D And this is just a reminder, everyone has different methods in drawing, for example some like to start drawing the eyes while I always start from the posture that kind of thing.. so this is just to give an overview on drawing ikemen, whether you use it or not everything goes back to your own preferred style.. and I'm not a professional, only a hobbyist just like many others.. but I hope this helps anyone in needs. . #myart #drawing #drawingtutorial #mangatutorial #mangaart
[Long post] I really like Ash when he wears glasses... it makes me want to cry. He's that kind of child who needs to be helped the most but he won't ask anyone for help. He'd rather die trying to help himself rather than ask others for help. Trust no one. Best CIA candidate since age 10 for god's sake. Tragic. Very tragic backstory. Here's my thoughts of this series: I know I shouldn't trust old manga in tragedy genre but damn, THE PLOT.. aside from how the main character goes Rambo on almost anyone as the story goes, the plot is plausible. I read it until 5 am the day before, refused to sleep until I reached the ending.. and I broke down. Freaking weeping. The story is very much influenced by Stephen King's Shawshank Redemption (the parts when they're in jail), Oscar Wilde (and his concept of youth! Remember Dorian Gray? Remember who's Wilde at all??), Poe, and many other American popular writers (which will be enough to make a whole essay just to pinpoint where and when they inflicted their influence in this manga). If those writers didn't give you enough warning of what's this all about, I'll simply warn you that the content of the manga is heavy (for my scale, but overwhelming for most people) it involves child abuse, human trafficking, gore, psychological and many other heavy materials (I just can't believe in 80s this manga is categorized as shoujo). So brace yourself, your soul might be tainted after you read the manga. Another thing about this series: I really really like their clothes!! They're all so damn stylish! I'm reading this 80s manga in 2017 and still think that their clothes are so cool can you believe it? X'D Anyway, can't wait for its anime adaptation! . . #bananafish #ashlynx #aslanlynx #fanart #myart #outline
Everytime I finished coloring something I always want to erase them all and do it all over again =..= but halfway thru I usually realize that's just too much work and end up sticking to the first version anyway. That has become a pattern. . . #myart #originalart #originalcharacter #oc #drawing
Welp, I'll sleep now.
Quick sketches to remind myself on how to draw his hair and stuff~
We've been there before.
Idk what he is exactly to me... the embodiment of rebellious phase?? X'D
Just realized that the idea for this story has been sitting on my disk since 2013?! Re-reading them now feels so nostalgic... and sad, definitely sad because it took me this long to realize -_- and even sadder because real life sucks -_- Anyway this is Aram, a bassist who used to be in the same band with Eka back in their high school days. Eka describes him as "two-faced bastard", which now that I think about it, is very wrong... because Aram is actually a HUNDRED-FACED BASTARD AHAHAHA XDDD
