I never saw myself as a photographer... . . . I always enjoyed taking pictures, but I never pictured myself doing it for a living. Then, I started photographing the thing I knew best: food and restaurants. Then it all became clear that this was my passion. . . . Taking a captivating photo and pairing it with an equally captivating caption is one thing that will never get old. . . “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” -Harriet Tubman
It all started with a Polaroid camera 📸 . . . That was the first gift that I opened on Christmas morning when I was 8 years old and I started taking pictures of EVERYTHING. My second camera was a Nikon and I took even more pictures and even had to take them to get developed before I could see them. I know, flashback to the past. . . . After another camera upgrade and about 15 years later, I’m still taking photos and now I get to help individuals build their businesses with photos and engaging social media content. Anyone else thinking of turning a hobby into their dream job?
Ringing in 2019 with one of my favorite things, this little guy right here. Happy New Year to you and yours 🐶
I did something a little bit different for Christmas this year🎄 . . I never know what to buy my grandmother for Christmas, she seems to have everything she needs and it gets really tough coming up with new and innovative gifts every year... . . Anyone else struggle with this year after year? . . After I took this photo at sunrise one morning, I opened it up on my computer and I thought, wow she might really like this. . . Fast forward to Christmas Day and she looked at it and she said “honey, this is beautiful, have you thought of doing this as a career?” . . If your family and friends believe in you, that’s really all the motivation you need ❤️. . . . . . . #iheartconnecticut #connecticut_igers #connecticutgram #connecticutlife #connecticutstyle

💥Photo Tip💥 After taking this photo of a brand new cocktail, I knew that these wooden tables wouldn’t work because they were too similar in color to the drink. So what do you do? You create some contrast with a pretty wooden background darker in color and with texture which is much more complimentary to the color of this delicious cocktail🍹 What do you struggle with most while taking photos?
Getting up close and personal with this yummy French Onion Soup 🥣

Taco Tuesday 🌮, anyone? A very fun recently completed project.
I have been in the restaurant business for half of my life. 😳 . . It’s crazy to think that it all started almost fifteen years ago in Fort Lauderdale, FL ⛱ when I had my first job as a food runner. . Growing up in this industry has really taught me to have a love for food and how it should be presented. I always knew I would continue in the restaurant business, I just wasn’t sure in what capacity that would be. . . Then one day it all clicked. I started taking pictures with my iPhone then invested in a new camera and haven’t looked back since. . . I LOVE helping business owners showcase their product and coming up with styled shoots so they are able to market to new audiences and ultimately grow their business. Little did I know I was setting myself up for my future career at 16 years old. . What was your first job?
What do you do when you’ve been having a bad week? You get your dog up and take a walk to catch the sunrise on the water. Then you remember how lucky you are to live in such a beautiful seaside town.
I got the chance to take some photos for one of my favorite places in town. . . What are a few of your local favs?
One of my favorite Holiday traditions is watching my aunt cook. She also makes the BEST gluten free cheesecake 🥰What’s your favorite Holiday tradition?
I’m just too busy with other things to worry about posting on here. . . That’s probably what you’re thinking. I know, you’re a busy business owner who doesn’t have time to worry about posting on your social media platforms. . . For the last few years I have been assisting biz owners by providing original content photography as well as copy for Instagram/Facebook/Twitter posts and email marketing to help increase their revenue and expand their customer base. . . By using original photography 📷 and copy, you are able to market and showcase your own product for your audience to see. No need to scour the internet for those stock photos when you can use photos of items that your customers can actually purchase! . . Are you a business owner? Do you utilize these tips while posting to your social media?
