Maine greens in winter. Noami and James, you are gods among men. @dickeyhillfarm
Cadence and her roommates making couch-sitting look like a past time of the gods.
Remember that one super annoying kid who would always shriek at you, Why don't you take a picture, it'll last longer? Hate to say it but he's kinda got a point. booking family sessions now!
I love this family ❤ Also, if you'd like family photos and you live next to an enormous junk shop, fair warning it will be pretty hard to drag me away from the human-sized rusty circular saws. They bring out your eyes! @swallowtailfarm for @risingtidecoop
Winter family sessions could mean snuggling on your bed or posing with your lizard next to art. Or it could be too much coffee and dance parties, or a whole beach to ourselves, or rolling down a hill and turning into human snow balls. Point is, it's always a good time. Message me for details, let's hang out and turn your crazy beautiful life into pictures you'll have f o r e v e r r r r r r r r .
Logan and Jessie live on this farm and they're crazy in love so I'm assuming they kiss in front of this barn everyday. But on this particular day, they dressed up.
Abby: sister of the bride. Also, a badass woman standing next to a barn, and building a human inside her belly like it's no big deal.

I gravitate towards places that make me feel like I'm inside a box of crayons. Bonus points if it's the cerulean part of the box.
Eliza hanging out casually in her childhood bedroom sporting some fresh kicks.
if you raise pigs in the woods and get married on your farm and you don't hesitate to trek through your pigs' previous residence when I mention that the light is nice there, we'll probably get along just fine.
menfolk: please hold more flowers, at weddings and elsewhere. thank you in advance.
I've been taking longer than normal to deliver photos, partly because I have been getting to do a lot more photo-y work lately (which is great), partly because I don't understand how calendars work (which is sometimes great but not as much in this context), and partly because I don't want my kids or partner to forget who I am (which seems important). Thank you friends/clients for your patience, It Means A Lot. PS @bblanche91 yours are so. very. close. ❤
Feeling down? Visualize yourself in the fuzziest sweater, with the prettiest flowers, holding some rum and coke that your Chilean relatives just ran across a field to pour for you, standing next to your newly officialized life partner. Should help.
Message from the other half of my brain, @passiveaffection : Last winter I impulsively dedicated a couple of months to documenting people with their favorite possessions, and now I'm honored to have 30 of those photos in the Danforth Gallery at UMA, as part of the exhibition 'Above Below Before Behind Within' along with four incredible Maine artists. If you're able, swing by TONIGHT for the opening reception. It will be 5-8pm with a dinner by the deliciously talented @giantdaughter starting at 6 and a performance by the supernatural @_heatherlyon (if you'd like dinner, snatch up tickets quick at umabookstore.com, click on Danforth.) Come anytime, I'd love to see you there! Big thanks to @susan.bickford for making it all happen ❤ (photo: Gabrielle + her little Virgin Mary statue, February 2018)
Thank you, @kyiie__jo from the bottom of my heart, for being the kind of person who buys her wedding dress at a thrift store.
Eliza + Matt got married at the very end of summer in Paradise aka Eliza's mom's garden, and everyone cried.
