(Why were you searching for me? Jesus asked “didn’t you know i had to be in my Father’s house?” (Luke 2:49-50)) My Father’s house...It’s kinda where we all want to be all the time right? Aside from His kingdom of course. Now please stay with me on this I know this pic kinda doesn’t makes sense as I’m outside of my house shooting it. But it comes together. Or I am in fact wildly reaching with this shot lol. Either way it’s for His Glory. We all desire to be in His word or in His house. Yes. But sometimes we let “us” get in the way. Technology, social media, our social calendar, our workout routine, our dating life, binge watching, materialistic pursuits, whatever it may be. We make that the priority over our relationship with #Jesus which is actually idolatry. When Mary and Joseph realized they had lost Jesus they went frantically looking for Him. Like any good parent does. But with us when we put more effort into all the distractions we surround ourselves with we “don’t lose Him we evict Him*.” His Word, His House is set aside so we can pursue us or “do us.” Then we wonder where and when we lost sight of Him. Stay on the path #God set before you let all distractions fall away in Jesus’ name Amen?!? #amen #beencouraged #savedbyGrace #praiseGod #PraiseJesus #FatherGod #KingJesus #HolySpirit #HolyBible #pray #manofGod #womanofGod #childofGod #truelove #truth #faith #photography #sacramento #california #Godisnotdead #jesussaves #godovereverything #Godfirst #Godbless #saved #faith #fellowship #Christian *Ps the quote I used above i got from this great apologist book that I totally recommend you read the text is originally. “Today we are a little more sophisticated than Jesus’ parents. We do not lose Him in places; we evict Him from our lives and justify it with ideas.” -Ravi Zacharias’s Why Jesus? Read it! read it! read it!!!
