This spot 😍 Never felt a piercing of pain from cold like that before. I'm not in Colorado anymore-- I'm in the NORTH. 📷 I came to Chicago to get my tourist spots outta my system, eat at the restaurants that have those rave reviews 🍕🍕🍕, so that I wouldn't wait till October, my Marathon weekend, & cram all these places in a few days. I want to relax my legs as much as possible before those 26.2 miles (unlike what I did in New York 😐). I still want to come in the summertime & experience their beaches & other high rise buildings I didnt experience much scenic views from due to clouds and snow haze this visit. @lollapaloza 👏 2019 is gonna be G R E A T
😍 I was SUPER into the bean. Ecstatic to see and touch it's cold stainless steel. Seeing something online for years and then finally witnessing it in person is a thrill for me 😍 The illusions that happen in the reflections as you walked underneath the bean itself was beautiful and fun.
Bean there, done that.

📚 I've gotten several messages asking to list my top 5 books I read for 2018. Here they are ❤ From top to bottom: 🌟 Everything I Never Told You was a deep, heartfelt portrait of a family struggling with its place in history, and the young woman hoping to be the Fulfillment of that struggle. Ugh, I want to read this again. 💓 . . . . 🌟 Dark Matter was a mindblowing Sci-Fi/ Suspense/ Love Story mash-up. I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN. 😱 The fastest, strangest, high-tension thriller, always engaging & frequently moving. . . 🌟 A Man Called Ove was MY NUMBER ONE BOOK IN 2018. I cried several times at a bar during my reading ❤ 😭. You'll feel new sympathy for the curmudgeons in your life. You will never look at grumpy people in quote the same way. A very memorable read. . . 🌟 Speak No Evil was a tie for 1st place. This book made me angry. I'm still digesting and trying to understand my feelings & emotions from this book. Realization of how unfair life can be. Can’t elaborate without spoiling it, so I will instead sit in awe of this uniquely structured, gently (and gorgeously) written story that I thought was about one thing but was really about something else. Heartbreaking on so many levels, this will stay with me. . . 🌟 My Absolute Darling was unlike ANYTHING I've ever read. TWISTED and fucked uppppp. WHY ISN'T THIS BOOK A MOVIE, YET?!?! This book is ugly, beautiful, horrifying & uplifting. The word "masterpiece" has been cheapened by too many blurbs, but this absolutely is one!! . . .
Mi número uno ❤ . . . . . 1st weekend hike of 2019 ✔ done
💪 10 pounds difference in these pics. January 2018 I wore this dress in Las Vegas & weighed 175 - I am now 165. Small changes add up! I'm looking forward to working with a fabulous trainer I've admired for years @mallorykingfitness for a VIP program so I can become stronger before starting my Marathon training 💪 Cheers to our goals this year! . . . . .
❤ 2019 vibes.
Leaving 2018 like 🤘 Same dress, New Year
📚 I read 17 books this year. (I'm not an e-reader) I'm going to make another post regarding my top 5 this year (😍 🤗 🌟 🌟). What were some of your faves in 2018? I often get asked how I have free time to read -- I don't have WIFI at home, or cable. That means no Netflix or roku/firestick whatever. 📀 I have a DVD player, still buy movies & or rent from Redbox/Library. There's less distractions at home for me. 2019's goal is to read 20 books. Aiming for 25, we'll see!!! 🤘 . . . . .
➡️ I took on this challenge starting November 29th and it ended yesterday. I was strongly looking forward to my junk food binge today which was Tostito's restaurant style chips and their salsa jar -- which I eat in one sitting. As well as a large size bag of Lay's potato chips with Valentina hot sauce. I haven't been able to stomach more than a few tips of either, and it tastes completely disgusting. I'm so grossed out.😑 I'm more annoyed by the fact that I wasted 20 bucks on this crop that could have totally been 3 large pizzas. ☹ This tastes so gross + I'm so tempted to calling the phone numbers of the business is asking for my money back 🤪. Going without this junk food for 28 days definitely changes your taste buds and now I'm cranky that I WASTED CALORIES on this shit. . . . . .
