"Coffee with a side of massage roller"... aka "the morning after"... The #sunrise happened today and I wasn't out running. Didn't have to, my #firstmarathon is behind me. 969 miles run this year, and I'm fine keeping the total right there - at least for a few days... This morning I'm left with intensely sore quads, tender feet, and a whole lot of thankfulness and sense of accomplishment. Very satisfied to have met my sub 3:30 goal at #sugarloafmarathon with an official time of 3:26:20 (7:53/min pace). The end of the course was more uphill than I thought and had to fight heavy legs the final 10k. Very happy with the result, and proud of everyone who completed the full 26.2 today! #beatyesterday #firstmarathon #mindovermatter

Daybreak #20miler , left the house at 4:45am as I had to be done by 8 for Max's little league parade... Wind was a bit gusty at times, but overall a nice run.
