If someone had told me last week that I‘d climb on sunday I wouldn‘t have believed it: On Wednesday evening my left shoulder felt tired and a little bit of pain. On Thursday it hurt so much. I couldn‘t even lift my arm above the head when I was working. In the evening @liesahergeth treated my Infraspinatus muscle as this seemed to be the trigger as it hurt a lot putting pressure on it. Luckily I knew that this could be a reason for my shoulder pain as @sir.takobert gave me some tipps for my other shoulder earlier this year. From then the pain went away continiously until I felt newborn on Saturday. Therefore I decided then to go bouldering on Sunday. I had no expectations but I heard from @christof_rauch that he crushed in Saalachtal and I got syked to go there, too. Especially as I haven‘t been there before and I wanted to see something new. As Chris did ‚Pipe Dream‘ [fb 8B] I also decided to try it. It‘s steep, crimpy and not too long. Established by Bernhard Schwaiger. First it felt impossible. Then I could do the moves. Nevertheless I didn‘t believe that I would link them before my skin is wrecked and thought about going to another boulder. But I gave it one more try. Grabbed the nasty undercling crimp perfectly and didn‘t make any mistake afterwards ✔️ Check out my ascent on Youtube. You only need to follow the link in my bio 📽 Thanks for watching and don‘t forget to subscribe 🙏 @prana @petzl_official @scarpa_de UPDATE: the way I started this boulder seems to be not the original way. Check out Bernhard Schwaigers homepage for futher details if you want to try it. In my opinion the holds I took are the most obvious ones to seperate the sit and the stand-/crouchstart.
