They all LIED to you! . And we bloody hate seeing anyone being lied to about fitness/nutrition. . Unless you're doing something like swimming or running for hours on end, there's NO WAY you burned 1000 calories in a class. . You'll be lucky to hit 500. . Because the TRUTH is exercise classes aren't going to burn tonnes of calories. . Now, that doesn't mean there are no benefits to them. . There's the physical side - Getting fitter, being able to run after the kids without losing your breath, getting your heart pumping. . Mental - Feeling better after, relieving a little stress, boosting your mood. . Social - having fun in groups, meeting new people, finding a community you belong to. . We could go on. . Classes have benefits. Just not 1000 calorie burning benefits.
