"My dearest Lagetha," Balkan announced sarcastically as the Peacekeeper caught up to the rest of the fellowship. Lagetha preemptively rolled her eyes before the Oracle even continued speaking. "Do you remember that talk that we had in Windhelm? Something about it being war time, and what would happen if you got pregnant? Well--" "Nothing has happened between us, Balian," Lagetha cut her off irritably. In truth, Lagetha felt frustrated by her feelings and actions. She was nervous. Afraid, even. Balian sensed this and grabbed her arm. Lagetha looked into her eyes as she spoke. "You're falling in love," Balian said. "It's supposed to be scary. At least, I think it is. But I see how you are around him...like all of your stress and worries are gone. He is your hope. And that's a good enough reason to love him." With that, Balian stride away. Leaving Lagetha behind on the bridge to ponder her words. "Also," the Oracle chimed. "Don't lie to me, Lagetha. The entire camp knew something happened between you two last night. You're not quiet. And neither is he. Keep up, now!" Embarrassed and flushed, she kept her head down and sheepishly followed her companions across the bridge.
