D A Y 4 🌸 of the #blossomtribute karma yoga challenge. We are exploring Ardha (half) or full hanumanasana/split pose. In this challenge we bring awareness to @womenblossomproject. Blossom projects mission is to give voice, dignity and visibility to homeless women, victims of sex trafficking, prostitutes and refugees. _ Swipe lift and meet Najia. She is 56, and from Afghanistan. She told us that when she is on her own she constantly think and is worried about her family in Afghanistan - but when she is in the project she can think about something else for a while. _ Doing this challenge we will collect tampons to homeless women. One of Blossoms’ projects is to pack and handle out toilet bags to women on the street in San Francisco and Copenhagen. For every picture posted doing this challenge one tampon will be donated from private sponsors. After months of planning, I’ve managed to collect 700 tooth brushes, 800 tooth pastes and barely taking any clothes. Off to Cambodia I go to volunteer and help those that are less fortunate. It has been one of my life long passions to volunteer abroad alone and aid the poor. With the Dental knowledge/skills I have gained over the past several years, I would like to provide some key knowledge to promote and educate Oral Health to support the children and families in their villages. In addition to the above, I will also be involved in: Teaching english, arts and crafts, helping in rice fields, on site bamboo building projects and looking after the vegetable gardens in remote areas. For på den måde kan du rent faktisk gøre en forskel. _ @womenblossomproject pakker toilettasker med hygiejnebind, tamponer, desinficerende vådservietter og, et håndskrevet kort til hjemløse, prostituerede og til kvinder der har været ofre for sex trafficking. Disse bliver udleveret hvert kvartal. I København bliver de udleveret på steder som Projekt Cafe Udenfor, Cafe Clara og Reden International og Hellebro. _ Toilettaskerne skal pakkes i slutningen af april og i den anledning samler vi tamponer, bind og intimvaskeservietter ind til taskerne fra d. 20. april – d. 30. april her i dit yogastudie. I had the honour of experiencing the debut of the @asoundlifecharity dome at the @byronspiritfest on Saturday during a heart-warming Sound Circle led by @edokahn. In 2014 it was their dream to create a dome as a hub for music, yoga, creativity and meditation for people in need. Wowzaz! And to witness that dream become a reality for them 4 years later was deeply moving. I’ve admired ASL’s work for the past year and came to know about them through a collaboration with @communitiesassist. If you haven’t heard their story, you must. ASL exists to bring the healing power of yoga,music and meditation to people in need as a free service. They visit hospitals, age care facilities, women’s shelters, mental health spaces and people with disabilities and they bring love, joy, hope and insight. They’ve helped thousands of people in Australia and beyond in the name of seva (service). Grateful for their work. 🙏🧘‍♀️💃🏻🎸🎹🎺🎼

These are some of the children from our D2C After-school Tutoring Program. Thanks to some amazing donors we were able to re-launch this program and continue to support the most struggling students of the local area to succeed in school. I have to admit that I broke down in a puddle of tears (privately ;) watching these kids, and seeing this program thrive, knowing that D2C is making a huge difference in the community at large. Our reach goes beyond those special kids lucky to be part of our D2C Family Home/orphanage and is serving hundreds of kids with the second most important advantage after a loving family, an education. This makes my heart smile. First time at Slough NK and they were right when they told me it's busy 😊 .. still come across our own people who have never heard or Basics of Sikhi. Spent the day celebrating the earth on the gorgeous island of Amorgos in the Cyclades. This island has been inhabited since 2400 BC (earliest artifacts found) and is home to a monastery dating 8th century AD. Despite this, Amorgos only implemented electricity 40 years ago, and still holds the quaint and holistic vibe of its roots. The island is said to play host to a large layer of crystal rock and emit a geomagnetic energy 🔮📿. I watched these flowers give love today to honeybees and beautifully close up at night as the sun set. Everything here seems to be living in harmony, with very little effort at all. It is so peaceful, so simple. I am in awe walking around this place. . . . Tomorrow after our first practice, my group will participate in a trail cleanup as our seva for the retreat. Isabelle and I got in some hard work today cleaning up the yard and gardens for these lovely people. Their grounds and decks are ready for a party next weekend and the gardens are ready for the rest of the group to come in May to help put some plants in the ground. Quiet honestly... I loved doing it even though in bad pain from Sadhana and no sleep that maybe I'll get the girls on a similar Seva project next season. It was so nice to do things for people that have standards AND appreciate younger people coming in to help them. Plus!!! I'm big on things like gardens so either the bees are being saved or humans are being fed. One gentleman gave all us ladies a standing ovation. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was told to take a bow the second time around. 🤣🤣. #seva #kundaliniteachertraining
