Cute artichoke seedlings. Regretting a little bit that I didn’t seed more than 20 because we’re currently having a drastic temperature drop by north wind from Siberia, estimated to last for at least a week, why I suspect that quite a few of the overwintered chokes won’t make it. Without a proper snow layer they’re exposed to the elements. But then again, whom am I to rant about a possible temperature drop to -10°C? This week I got to virtually meet other women farmers that deals with -30°C thanks to Tanja at @tanjasgarten in Austria. She has started this exciting network. Head over to her profile for more information on how you can join. Get to learn about farming in Mongolia, the Rocky Mountains, or perhaps somewhere a little bit warmer like Portugal or France.
