What do you serve for dinner on a Friday night when you feel like something slightly special but have no interest in spending much time in the kitchen? How about this Indian-spiced salmon in a mustard coating? It’s a “fusion” recipe I’ve been making for years, based on one created by the late film producer Ishmael Merchant. Just coat the fish in a mixture of Dijon mustard and fresh lemon juice, lightly seasoned with Indian spices, and saute. Garnish with fresh herbs, open a bottle of spice-friendly cold white wine, and enjoy.
