When your husband complains that you drag him to the @philamuseum , but every time he goes he's inspired-haha! @bookiedesign created this lino-print for all the $50+ donors that supported him. He has a few extra that will be for sale tomorrow at @thecedarshouse Faerie Market. He raised over $1300 for MS (thanks to everyone!!!) and completed the 80 mile ride!
Completed another year of the MS city to shore- 75 miles 💗🚲
Nothing a green drank & dollop of pb can't fix. 💚 Feeling pretty stellar after a weekend of century riding for the City to Shore MS ride, yoga, spike balling, swimming, and eating Mamie's delicious meals. Started Monday off strong with a 6mi bridge run with some bad a$$ Mommas! 🚴🏼♀️🏃🏽♀️#mscitytoshore #run #runphl #nurse #greendrank #spinachsmoothie #fitforlife #pb
Local 19's cycling team, Tinknocker Militia crossing the finish line! #local19 #GivingBack #Local19Cares #MS #BikeMS #MSCitytoShore #WeAre19 Thank you to everyone who took part this year, you all did a great thing which you should be proud of and we look forward to the next ride! If any members, friends, or family are interested in riding next year, please reach out. A huge thank you to the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride for putting on another amazing experience for riders. Most importantly though their continued efforts to raise awareness and money for research to help everyone who lives with MS everyday. Last and certainly not least great thanks to all the volunteers and police officers who kept the riders hydrated, fed, safe on the road, and their bikes mechanically sound. And who cheered us on to the end. I'll tell you as one of the riders, what got me through the last five miles were all the people on the side of the road cheering us on to make it to the finish line. You made the difference. Thank you!
Race #28 - well not a race. It an amazing event for MS. City to shore MS bike ride, 74 awesome miles with 7,000 people and 5 incredible teammates for 1 cause. Can't wait to do it again next year! Thank you to EVERYONE that donated and supported us! Plus I got to spend the day with my bestie @njrunnergirl81 , laughing and being silly made the ride so much more fun!!!! #mscitytoshore #mssucks #cycling #anythingispossible #roadto40for40 #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #
Such a satisfying feeling crossing the finish line today on day 2 of the city to shore. Thankful for everyone who donated toward MS research and hopefully one day there can be a cure. Shout out to the 8,000 other riders and the hundreds of volunteers making sure we were hydrated the entire time. #mscitytoshore #citytoshore
I DID IT! I did the MS City to Shore from start to finish. There was a short 8 miles I rode in the sag wagon to the last rest stop, but got out there and finished the ride in my saddle. I was also going to do the return ride, but the temps here are topping 90F and I also got my period unscheduled in the middle of the ride yesterday. I was slow, near the back of the pack, but I rolled into Ocean City NJ will some others. I took the shuttle back to the starting point so I could shower and sleep in my own bed. I'm tired and sore, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The best part: I grew up in NJ and being back there, out of the city, riding through the farm areas and Pine Barrens, the sights and sounds, was really comforting and peaceful. And when you are slow AF, you get to ride solo for the majority of it (which I like). Worse part: Only bad thing was that when my team mate (who road ahead as planned. he's much faster than I am) knew I was at the last rest stop and rolling to the finish line soon, he didn't bother to come meet me at the finish. It was disappointing. #mscitytoshore #citytoshore #msride #oceancitynj #bikenj #bikelife

I did it. 75 miles. My tire popped and I almost cried. I struggled getting over the Ocean City bridge. I did it though with my family and we raised almost $1800 for MS. My participation medal says that I can do anything. #msbikeride #mscitytoshore #furriesonbikes #fitnessgoals #motivation
