I used to say things to myself, about myself, that were hurtful to myself. *You aren’t smart enough *You don’t have much to offer, you are getting older *You will never change, you’ve been this was for a long time. I heard a quote yesterday in our team meeting “When I became aware of my own excuses,(my negative talk) I got sick of it. Now I just have zero tolerance and life opened up to me.” Yes, I work on this every day, some days better than others. But when I turn my hurtful talk around to positive statements, I am a much more joyful, positive and happy person. Now I say: *I am smart enough *I have wisdom I can pass down to others *I am changing each day in a positive way How about you? What kind of talk to do you carry on with yourself?
