When I was little girl my most favorite thing was dancing. In school, at home - all I wanted to do is dance. And of course dancing wasn't a serious or important occupation for my parents. For misbehaviour or bad results in school I was punished by being expelled from dance classes. It took me many years to forgive my parents and bless them for all the lessons they gave me. And it brought me back to dancing with a difference of being aware of music and my body moving with it. Ecstatic dance. 5rthyhms. Spontaneous dance. Spiral moves. Disco. Salsa. Hip hop. Shaking. Drum step. All shades and forms of musical movement are able to reveal what is sleeping deep inside. Emotions, memories, thoughts. And befriend them. Make them your ally. I am honoured to lead first Woman's Ecstatic dance in Beirut - AbunDANCE. This is exactly how we feel, when we women dance - abundant. If you are a woman 😂 and you are in Beirut, follow the AbunDANCE Circle 1 in social media and join us for incredible experience. See you on the dance floor.
